Quick update of my crash at Paddock Hill at the last Thundersport GB round at Brands Hatch.
The bike: Other than some cosmetic damage I also bent both front discs, which I sent off to Motoliner Maidstone to straighten. Great service and quick turnaround but unfortunately one was beyond repair so a new brembo is on order. Big thanks to AR Racing for sorting me out with that.
Me: Turns out alongside a few bumps and bruises I have managed to crack a couple of ribs, doctors say i...t will take 6-7 weeks to heal but I'm testing at Donington Park on the 25th August so they WILL be better by then 😉
Feel both the bike and myself got off lightly considering and it does at least give me a chance to rest and catch up on the MotoGP!

Bit of a mixed race weekend in the end. Qualifying was tricky on a drying track, lots of crashes and got held up so left me with a lot of work to do from p14 on the grid. Race1 I managed the work my way through the pack but by then the gap to the front was too big, finished 7th. Race 2 got a better start and kept with the front boys getting through to 8th before crashing at paddock hill. Bike fixed for Sunday racing but a very slippery track meant I pulled in early and called it a day. Bike all set up after a successful testday at Brands Hatch for a weekend racing with Thundersport GB in the pre-national 600 class.
