it took me back in time to my teenage years, love everything about this place, full of character and interesting people

We played here on Saturday night. Tony the owner was instantly accommodating. The venue was amazing and the sound man Luca had his shit down! Great place!! Highly recommended! �

Top venue, top music, top people - love it! Had my 40th birthday party there and it absolutely rocked. We had a band, Dj and a couple of rappers in the 2nd cavern, and then chill out in the main bar. Perfect!

This is one of the best kept secrets in south London!

THE place to go meet Flavio... Flavio's place kicks ass!!

So, first time down here to see some great bands. Started off with very polite gentlemen on the door, enjoyed the simple range of quality beers and the place itself is typically quirky but works very well. Found myself comfortably slumped in various sofas but also outside to admire the light show coming from the passing trains (think "Rumble Fish"). Band sound perfectly good for the gig so overall a very good impression. Just over a ten minute brisk walk from Brixton if you don't take the train that lands on the doorstep ....

Only been to the Jazz Jam on Monday's - so friendly, so musician friendly and the quality of the music is too

OTC is a really wonderful, warm welcoming space - quirky and cosy, the owner and his staff are are both cheeky and wonderful - their jazz nights are really great and very friendly - so much so i met my husband to be while jamming there. LOVE THE PLACE, will be my first destination when back to the country.

My first visit to this venue was on Friday, 19 December 2016 - which was the end-of-year jazz jam.

Without doubt... one of the TOP three, best live music evenings of my (ahem) longish life!

Superb vibe, music and vocalists! Rockin' stuff!

Its a relaxing atmosphere like home from home!!!the bar staff are so warm and welcoming and the idea that you can shop for a unique piece of furniture priceless!!!!shopping and cocktails. Good times x

I love this place. What a fantastic vibrant venue, great staff and amazing atmosphere. We need live music in Herne Hill, crazy dancing and great bands. I love it.

I love this place & the staff, we did a great gig on a Sunday afternoon & the sound guy was the most thorough & professional we've ever had, thanks, see you again soon!

Had my engagement part here and the staff and facilities were amazing. Couldn't recommend highly enough. The guys worked non stop to ensure everyone had a great night.

Friendly staff, great venue. Hosted a great party here back in Feb with my sister and bought 2 really cool bar stools!

First time last watching 48 Thrills play the Clash's first album. Loved the two bars, the quality of sound and lighting. Friendly bar staff and reasonable bar prices. I will be back....and soon

Amazing venue with an inspiring history, beautiful management, talented soundmen and lighting engineer, great vibe. This is THE ONLY venue in London with a SMASHING in house drumkit !!! Love everything about it.

Great venue, lovely atmosphere, just a pity that the security staff are so brusque at the end of the evening; got just given two minutes to drink up, then was followed into the Ladies by a man so he could chivy me out again, then kept insultingly being called "Miss" by the security staff, despite the fact that I'm in my forties and haven't been a "miss" for about twenty-five years. They clearly couldn't wait to get rid of us, and I wasn't the only unhappy punter. A not very nice end to an otherwise pleasant evening.
