CONFIRMATION 2019 - PARENTS' MEETING
Please remember that tonight there is a parents' meeting to discuss arrangements for this year's Confirmation Mass which will take place on Sunday 9 June at 10.30am. There will be a photographer in attendance to discuss the possibility of having pictures at Mass. If you are unable to attend please inform us asap.

After almost a month here are some pictures from the Thanksgiving Mass for the 10 Years of the Vocationist Presence in UK celebrated in our Parish on the 9 April.

TO THE CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES
Please remember that tomorrow is our retreat at SPEC. The coach will leave at 8.30am, we will meet outside the Church but be on time! Also remember to bring a packed lunch but note that SPEC has a strict NO NUTS policy therefore nothing containing nuts can be brought into the premises.

Please note that there is a mistake in this week’s newsletter as it says No Mass for tonight when in fact there is a Mass at 7pm. Apologies for any confusion!

Reminder to Confirmation Candidates/Parents
On Sunday 28 is the SPEC Retreat and Parental Agreement/Consent Forms have to be in by Sunday 14 April. This is an essential moment for the course so no one should be missing it unless there are some extraordinary circumstances.
Also candidates are required to write a letter to Fr Luigi in which they write:... - Why do they wish to be confirmed - Why do they think they are ready for this Sacrament - Who is their Confirmation Saint and why - Who do they have chosen as sponsor and why.
Letters can be pushed through the letterbox or email to heston@rcdow.org.uk, please in the subject area specify Private and Confidential - Confirmation letter.

ST GEORGES DAY QUIZ
Gather a team for our annual St George’s Day Quiz on Friday April 26th, Tickets are £5 , first question at 8pm, great prize on offer. Tickets are available from the club or the presbytery and will be on sale after masses.

CONFIRMATION
There will be a class this Sunday 3pm. Next Saturday 6 April at 11am we have a Reconciliation service. On Sunday 28 April there will be the retreat at SPEC consent form (which will be given during the class) to be handed in by Sunday 14 April.

GIFT AID BOXES
Are now available for collection, please ensure you pick up your box which will be handed out after all masses over the next few weeks, even if you pay by standing order please still pick up your box, Due to GDPR we can only give the box to the named person. If you cannot collect it this weekend, please collect if from the presbytery asap. If your circumstances have changed and you are no longer a tax payer please get in touch asap.

British Summer Time is coming!

You are all invited to join us to give thanks to God for our 10 Anniversary of Presence in UK. The mass is on Tuesday 9 April at 6.30pm followed by refreshments! Come along and join us!

PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND NOV 2019
We are planning to organise a pilgrimage to the Holy Land around November. Please register your interest with the parish secretary or Gabriel Fernandes by no later than Sunday 31st of March, depending on the number of interest we get there will be more details to follow.
