Good afternoon!
After such a successful Pram Race, it is a real shame that the Carnival isn’t happening this year.
I’m once again putting out a plea for a strong, committed Committee.
... I’m a Luddite, and working out how to circumnavigate this page is a nightmare! So if you are interested, please PM me.
Now is the time we need to get the proverbial ball rolling if we are to make it happen next year!

Lovely potential participants of the annual Oxted Carnival, it is with great sadness that I have to announce that the 2019 carnival is being deferred to next year.
Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, several members of our committee have had to bow out, leaving only 2 of us and , as a new committee, it is impossible to achieve the high level of carnival we have come to love and expect over the past 53 years.
We are currently recruiting for next year’s committee, and wou...ld welcome as many people as possible to join us to create a wonderful and smooth running carnival. The theme will be the same.
If you are interested in taking part in this Community event, and to raise money for worthy charities, please contact us either via email or social media.

Good afternoon, Good People of Oxted and surrounding areas!! The theme for the 2019 Oxted Carnival is going to be announced to all schools imminently, and the New Committee is very excited about it!
However, we need your help. We need people to join our committee. The more people, the less the work for everyone. If we get a few more committed people, everyone will have one small job, and it will be a pleasant experience for all!

Good news! The Oxted Carnival, which has been going strong for 52 years, and which was thought to have died this year, has been taken over by a new Committee!
The last Committee did an amazing job for many years, but decided to step down and hand it over. We thank them profusely (as I am sure all participants do, also!), and thank them for their continuing support to us, the new Committee.
... So, all being said, get out your diaries and put the 6th July 2019 firmly in your calendars; the Carnival Lives On!!
Details of theme etc will be announced after Christmas!
