Awareness note - Police appeal after gang of 6-9 men in balaclava's threaten Sikh family in Dartford, with knifes during burglary.
On Thursday, 31st January, just before 8 PM, between 6-9 men dressed in black who were armed, broke into the Cheema household, via smashing in the front door and holding the young family into hostage, whilst ransacking the house.
This short yet much devastating ordeal as scarred the family, especially to the nine year old also living in the house....
The armed gang scooped down to a much low level of physically assaulting two one year old twins, whilst waving the knifes to the children and to the parents.
A reward of £20,000 cash has been set for anyone who provides information that thus can lead to the gang's arrest and conviction.
"The men involved left the victims fearing they would be seriously assaulted and I’m confident there are people out there who will know who these offenders are" - Mr Cheema, the owner of the property, Dartford.
"I am appealing for anyone with information, no matter how small, to contact us."

Chaman Lal Chaman Ji was not only a recognisable figure amongst Panjab Radio, but also a noted Panjabi poet, lyricist and a well known figure amongst the Panjabi culture. He was the writer of the popular Panjabi song ‘Saun Da Mahina’, sung by Jagjit Singh, as well as his lyrics has also been sung by noted Indian singers such as Asha Bosle.
Behind all this, Chaman Lal Chaman Ji was known as a father-figure amongst Panjab Radio, a genuine kind gentleman who will be thoroughly missed by our presenters and listeners.
