What a lovely little toy shop, we bought our son his first tambourine recently and he loves it! ,it was great to look at all the classic wooden traditional toys! I particularly loved the cooker and wooden rashes of bacon! Highly recommend this beautiful colourful well decorated shop! Well worth a visit! Emma, Scott & baby George

Went in today for a couple of items - they had both things I wanted in. Bought my baby some 'mini oddballs' and he loves them and happily playing with them now. Can't wait till he is a bit older as there really are some lovely things in there!

The shop is a real treasure trove. We could spend hours in there. Made all the better by lovely helpful Emma! Am so pleased Papagaio seems to be going from strength to strength! Support local businesses :) who needs Hamleys!

Such a wonderful place. Lovely collection of toys, new and interesting stuff always coming in, and really helpful staff. Fab to be able to support such a great local business. My daughter calls it 'my favourite treasure chest' :-) I wouldn't go anywhere else now for birthday presents, new baby presents etc

Love this shop! It's exactly how an independent toy shop should be. Staff are absolutely wonderful, it's a little oasis of colour and joy on a busy high street.

I bought a doll, Christmas cards and wrapping paper here on Christmas Eve - great quality products and such friendly ladies - they even shared their bubbly with me!
