Franco-British Workspace Café on the ground floor of newly renovated Eagle House on City Road in Old Street. Modern and spacious with large wooden tables, Papilles offers you great coffees from award winning Volcano, Birchall Teas, Luscombe Fruit juices, homemade healthy breakfasts and lunches as well as seasonal salads and sandwiches. . . . and a few more French surprises ! Local products are used when available.
From 6pm, we are a Wine Bar offering a large selection by the glass and some Frapas (french tapas)!
We are a members place only but registration is free and easy.
Our space is available to hire.

Very welcoming, the coffee is by Volcano, so good flavour without any bitterness. Good wifi and lots of sockets, great for getting online and charged up. There's a nice range of hot food, wine, sandwiches and cakes too..
Totally awesome! Anne goes beyond hostess! The team is awesome.
This is a new discovery for me. I recommend you go and try it if you are around. Wines were very nice and reasonably priced. I will come back. In fact it may become my Tuesday evening canteen :-)
The best selection of French wines in East London by far 🍷 And the Frapas are fantastic 🧀🥖! ...and that's 💯% real ...not just because Anne & Johnatan display my art work in their venue from now to the end of October 😉👌🏻✨
Not the usual style over substance. If you like cheese and charcuterie washed down with a glass of wine then your in good hands at Papilles.

I cannot think of a better place in London where you can get a personalised cappuccino, excellent selections of wines, delicious food and friendly service for a good value of money in one place! Highly recommended!!!

Amazed by their wine list and French tapas! AND all so affordable! The plus is the friendliness of the owners, ouhlala! Can't wait to go back!
