Wow, just wow! Had an amazing 50th Birthday dinner here last night for me and 13 others! The foie gras is to die for and the rack of lamb was so, so tender! The icing on the cake was the wonderful hazelnut croquembouche - special request! The atmosphere is wonderful, the hosts and staff exceptional & am sure we will be eating here again and again! Bravo!

We had a most delightful lunch today. Lovely brasserie, good atmosphere, and friendly service!

The inventive menu was good and tempting, quite difficult to choose from, as I wanted to try everything!

Warm creamy chicken livers on Brioche were scrumptious! Pheasant breast was tender and juicy with cheesy cauliflower, delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxed lunch. Looking forward to returning!

Warm welcome, good wine and great food. Strongly recommend the smoked pigeon breast in the potato nest for starters and then the sticky lamb for main. The dark chocolate tart with orange and popping candy was a hit too. Well worth the journey from Ashford.

This was my first visit to Papillon and it certainly won't be my last! The sea bass was perfectly cooked and seasoned very nicely- I loved every mouthful! They also bake their own bread onsite and it was very tasty. The staff were very helpful and the whole restaurant has a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Papillon for a wonderful evening!

This restaurant is one to watch. Surpassing ANY expectations of restaurants in Bromley and a contender for a westend/ city restaurant!



If you are looking for Westend quality on your doorstep- voila! This is it. Food quality and cocktails to match and a good selection of wine.

Special mention for the foie gras. Cooked to perfection. We could eat this 24/7!

Steaks were equally cooked to how we liked... Medium & Medium Rare. And the pistachio macaron just was beautiful.

This newly opened french-style restaurant is an absolute gem. The food was outstanding, beautifully cooked and flavoursome without being overly pretentious. The menu was wide and varied with many tempting dishes on there, so it was hard to choose, but that will be easily remedied with a return visit. I recommend the lamb with squash mash, roasted red pepper and pesto - it was a beautiful combination of flavours. The desserts (deceptively) read as fairly standard fare, but were far more imaginative in reality. My cheesecake was more like a coffee mascarpone mousse on biscuit (delicious and light), but next time I'll be choosing the (equally light) chocolate and raspberry brownie. Superb.

I gather the wine list is also very good, although personally I never actually moved on from the "Papillon Gin & Tonic" as it was so tasty and refreshing.

Even though it was very quiet the night we were there, this place has a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I don't think it will be long before this place is discovered and packed to the hilt. If you like good quality food and wine at a reasonable price, then a visit to Papillon is highly recommended.

Love this new restaurant in Bromley, stumbled upon by accident. The food is excellent,classic French with a twist. I had the lamb, squash puree, roast pepper with pesto & would highly recommend!! The staff were attentive without being overbearing. We went on a Saturday & it was fairly quiet, but I am sure this is just because word hasn't yet got around. We will definitely be returning soon!

I took my daughter out for dinner and found the food and the dessert were on point. I would recommend everyone to try this restaurant out if you are looking for great food and excellent customer service.

I have visited several times, each time I have experienced exceptional service and superb food for very reasonable prices. The wine list is also quite diverse with good quality wines. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

I am so delighted to have a really good French restaurant finally in Bromley.... Just minutes from Bromley North. Had the most beautifully cooked steak with an excellent well priced house wine. Try the Armagnac lemon infused tipple after and float home!!! Wonderful evening X

Highly recommended restaurant at the top of Bromley High Street. Friendly, informed service and, most importantly the food was delicious. A good variety of meat, fish and vegetarian options meant that finding something special for our three varying tastes was easy.

Had a fantastic birthday celebratory meal here. I ordered the duck (which can often be tough) and it was perfectly cooked and sublimely tender! Everything was cooked and presented to perfection. I was then treated to a very special birthday cake! Highly recommend. Do visit soon. It will become your restaurant of choice in South London, I am sure.

Excellent restaurant, the food is simply to die for, the staff is absolutely lovely and the venue itself is beautifully presented. A must try! We will definitely come back to try the entire menu. I recommend the foie gras as a starter and fillet of beef for main, really amazing and affordable, considering it is better than most central London restaurants!
