Research: The impact of injury among Parkour/Freerunning athletes
Parkour UK have partnered with the Centre for Sports and Exercise and Medicine, Queen Mary, University of London, to explore why people take part in Parkour/Freerunning and the impact of injury among Parkour/Freerunning athletes.
As Parkour/Freerunning is a relatively new and rapidly expanding sport, at the moment there is very little currently known about the demographics and injury profiles of Parkour/Freeru...nning participants.
For these reasons we have decided to partner with Queen Mary University of London to explore this area of research, and for that we need your help.
We would like to invite our member organisations, our workforce and traceurs/traceuses/freeruners to complete an online survey which will take no more than 30 minutes to complete.

The objective of the Parkour UK 1st4sport Level 1 Parkour/Freerunning Activator is designed to provide benefit to learners on the basis that it prepares them for deployment as an activator in Parkour/Freerunning.
Successful achievement of the qualification will enable activators to organise and facilitate Parkour/Freerunning activities. It does not provide competence to coach, teach or instruct Parkour/Freerunning activities. The qualification is designed to support community development, with the aspiration to be able to tackle deprivation, radicalisation, physical inactivity and social exclusion; supporting health, well-being and participation initiatives.
