This workshop will deepen your knowledge of the pelvic floor, giving you ideas for exercises which will support you through pregnancy, prepare you for birth and help with postnatal recovery.
Lily is an east London based Pilates teacher specialising in pre and postnatal Pilates and fitness. She qualified as a Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates and in Diastasis Recti recovery with The Centre for Women’s fitness. She previously worked as a dancer and has over 15 years experience of teaching movement. She is also a qualified Hypnobirthing instructor, and enjoys helping women understand the mechanics of their body better in order to make informed decisions about their birth and aid safe postnatal recovery.

Royal Ballet Masterclass with @nicoledmonds Saturday 29th September 2-4pm £30
Royal Ballet Soloist @nicoledmonds will be back @pausestudiolondon teaching another masterclass in classical ballet. This time focusing more closely on the techniques that can help you achieve that streamline classical dancer body. Open to all, So come along to get fit and learn some of the principles of classical ballet.
... Nicol Edmonds joined the Royal Ballet in 2012 from Finnish National Ballet, and was promoted to First Artist in 2014 and to Soloist in 2015. He was born in South Devon and trained at the Elmhurst School for Dance. He graduated into Finnish National Ballet in 2010 where his repertory included Benvolio (Romeo and Juliet) and the title role in The Nutcracker. Since joining the Royal Ballet his repertory has included The Prince in the Nutcracker, Benvolio and Paris in Romeo and Juliet and Lensky in Onegin.

New pregnancy yoga class with @yolande_yoga coming to @pausestudiolondon soon! Every Friday 6.30-7.45pm starting September 7th. Yolande teaches yoga vinyasa specialising in pregnancy and postnatal health, as well as teaching yoga she is also a recognised Doula with Doula UK and an Active Birth Teacher. Her focus is teaching a safe but challenging class aiming to cultivate a feeling of balance, freedom and grace. Her intention is to create a space for her students to simply be with what is and to meet each individual with where they are at, whether a beginner or a seasoned yogi.

One of the foundational poses of Vinyasa Flow, Chaturanga Dandasana is a primary transition pose in many yoga classes. Because we do it a lot, it's super important to understand how to do it with the correct alignment to ensure we don't become injured over time.
This workshop will breakdown the fundamentals of alig...nment, mechanics, and anatomy of Chaturanga. We’ll look at the common alignment mistakes and address the bad habits you may or may not know you’re repeating every single time you practice the pose.
We'll explore strengthening exercises and preparatory poses to build up to Chaturanga and the arm balances that Chaturanga unlocks, leaving you with the confidence to practise your new skills in one of our classes.
