Wish we could've had more time in Derry, we would have spent every night at Peader O'Donnell's. Next visit to Ireland will be our way instead of a tour bus. Had a great time at you pub, your employees are excellent as was the music !!!

We were pointed in the direction of Peador O'Donnell's by a guy at the place where we were staying - we weren't disappointed. A great, little, traditional Irish pub. The staff were extremely friendly and the drink service excellent. We met many locals who gave us Aussie travellers a warm Irish welcome. A great place with authentic ambience. Well worth a visit.

Peadar O'Donnells is one of the best bars in Ireland. Located in the heart of Derry City centre the bar is a mix of locals and international visitors alike. The 'live' Irish traditional music is superb and the staff are so welcoming and attentive. Great Guinness and other beers. You cannot miss it if you are ever visiting the city.

I am from the Philippines working in Dubai and had been to Irish Village and it is not the same as Peadar O'Donnell's.It's my first time to visit a bar in Derry and I must say that it is really cozy and I love the artifacts and decors. The band is absolutely fantastic and really enjoyed the music. I will definitely recommend Peadar O'Donnell's to tripadvisor and on my travel blogs.

Cheers and more power! see you again next year!

I am a Canadian from Vancouver, Canada who has traveled to Derry since the mid 90s. I wanted to come and visit our Leader Martin McGuiness final resting place, so i did! then by a taxi driver, I was recommended to visit this bar so i did, then i realised i left my Mobile in the back seat of the Taxi driver's car, Yikes! sweating but not, although i had very important info inside the my cover for mobile phone)) . I then proceeded to tell Mr Bartender my delima i think i was a bit calm lol, Mr.Bartender asked some questions, i gave him the answers, he applied, I Received my mobile!!!!! Mr.Bartender i don't know your name but i thank you once again from my Canadian for all that you went out of your way in doing so and more for yours truly :-) i once owned my own Business before leaving Canada to live in my roots Ireland, this is one more reason why i have been traveling back and forth since the mid 90s, :-)

My lucky day!

Yours truly, Olivia Elayne Murray, and Murray by birth!

Thank youuuu everyone!

Will surly see you again as Derry is in my heart for personal reasons.

Great bar will be back the next time we are in Derry

User

By far the best pub I have been in when I have visited my family in northern island , absolutely loved the atmosphere and the Guinness was beautiful, and to the barman working in there on Monday afternoon , the drink with Guinness and Smirnoff ice is called a badger lol

User

Best stout and music in Derry. Super staff always on the ball. Uniquely connected to another bar via a wee door at the back. Spotless toilets too.
