User

Went here for lunch and omg I cannot recommend this place enough, great prices for everything, huge portions and the food was brilliant quality. Loads of choice, fantastic selection of cakes and the staff were all lovely! Bit out of the way up in the Peak District but well worth the visit especially if the weather is good!

User

We've been going to The Peak View tea rooms a long time and we're never disappointed. It's a beautiful setting, the staff are all very friendly and polite and the cakes are amazing. My dad and I popped in on the off chance yesterday (Sunday) that we'd be able to get breakfast. We did and as always it was gorgeous. Thank you and see you again soon x

User

We popped in today as a pitstop before we headed back home to northants. Very friendly staff, food was lovely and if we are back in the area in the future we will be sure to pop in!

User

We like this tea room - it has everything super nice waitresses, beautiful food (inc. a vegan menu), really reasonable prices, able to book. What else could you ask for? Absolutely brilliant views (although we couldn’t see them due to the weather) but their photos show them on Facebook, you must give them a try - they put all the other so called tea rooms to shame. Well done!

We celebrated a birthday here yesterday with three generations. The staff were wonderful; helpful and friendly.

User

We called in, as had been on our way to the Cat and Fiddle pub but found out it was closed, so stopped of here instead. What a little gem of a place! It was very busy, so only had a cuppa, but the views are fantastic, and the staff very friendly and helpful. We carried on for our tour and because we'd had our eyes on the fantastic home made cakes at the cafe, we came back the same way and had a bowl of delicious soup and a piece of cake! This place is certainly bookmarked for return visits in the near future!

User

Travelling along the A537 we decided to to stop off for a coffee break. We were met by pleasant staff who showed us to our seat and gave us a menu. The choices of food were many. We had scones and coffee cake that was both very nice.

Would highly recommend.

User

Our first visit, but definitely not our last, we called in on our motorcycle for lunch, had the best steak n kidney pie ever, service was brilliant with all the staff very friendly and smiling, well worth a visit, oh and the lemon drizzle cake is to die for

User

My wife and I have been frequent visitors to this lovely, inviting, friendly and warm gem of a tea room following our walks down in the Goyt Valley fantastic food and super snacks depending on your appitite with views accross the peaks and valleys.

User

More than a tea room, a fantastic restaurant too! We held my partners 60th birthday celebrations here recently and had a private function. The menu was stunning with a great selection, the food was fantastic. Gail and Philip and their staff went to so much trouble to ensure everything was as we wanted it, pre-dinner drinks reception, birthday cake and balloons. Nothing was too much trouble. Every single guest remarked on what a fantastic venue it was.

User

Lovely pit stop. We don't come this way very often but when we do we stop at this tea rooms. Lovely food and a huge array of home baked cakes. I am gluten and dairy free and the courgette and avocado cake was divine! We will definitely be back next time we're over here

User

I regularly go to Peak View Tea rooms as a pit stop while out on my bike rides and I can not fault the service. Gail (owner) and all her staff are really friendly and the food is always perfect :) If you are driving/cycling past it is definitely worth a visit!

User

Great stop on a tough mornings cycle with our club Black Horse Velo the staff are friendly and service is good opted for the small breakfast and coffee as it was a cold frosty morning great value there were plenty of homemade cakes to choose from but we resisted today as we had lots more cycling still to do.

User

Great food, and large selection of very yummy cake, very friendly staff. And of course exceptional views.Cant wait to come back.

User

Excellent! We stopped here on our way to our campsite in Buxton. Lovely table service by the friendly staff in homely surroundings. Great food, atmosphere and stunning views.

User

Excellent location. Service great, food excellent and a great place for a refreshment break after a drive in the country. Travelled from Oldham because we knew how great this place was. Thank you.

User

Let them know we were coming as a fourteen strong cycling group and they reserved a table for us and provided ice water with our meals- fantastic

User

Stopped here as was passing and hadn't been before. Had a lovely cup of tea and a very nice Bakewell slice. The view from the terrace is nice (although I didn't understand why there were traffic cones and chain in front of the fence?...) The staff were very nice.

I like the Bakewell slice so much that I asked for a piece to take away. I was quite disheartened to be given it in a plastic box inside a paper bag. We need to be moving away from single use plastic..... It would have been fine just in a paper bag. In the box it rattled around.

Anyway, that's why you are three stars, instead of four or five. I will visit again though.
