Another Honda in for some Hondata magic. EP3 with basic bolt on breathing mods making 30bhp over stock, with 17 of that coming from the dyno tune, proving that you only get the potential out of modifications after ECU tuning. K20A2 Engine swapped Integra Type R in today for mapping. Came in running poorly, quick diagnosis showed up the fuel pressure being set low, the wrong size of injectors selected in the map, TPS not calibrated and excessive fuel trims.
Fuel pressure adjusted, TPS calibrated and tuning could begin, ending up with peak power gains of over 30hp. There’s still potential for more power, the air intake is poorly sited and causing heat soak, a better intake and a few tweaks could gain roughly another 10hp.

Rare 4 door Integra Type R having some restoration and preservation work carried out. All rot on the underside is cut out and new metal welded in, underside completely degreased, any surface rust treated, exposed seams sealedand finally the underside will be epoxy primed and treated with UPOL Raptor, a tough and durable coating.

Gerry fitted me in for a remap really quickly, using hondata s300 on my jdm dc2 96spec. Made excellent gains. Even when there was a problem he phoned up and sourced a new ecu. Still managed to get the map done with my ecu being broken and when the new ecu was in, sorted me out within 30 mins. Top guy!! Good service!!
