Last up for Performers & Pints at The Rising Sun in Potton at on Saturday 2nd March is Elizabeth & Jameson from Bedford, a stunning collaboration between two rising stars of the UK folk/pop/rock scene comprising of Hannah Elizabeth of Said The Maiden and Griff Jameson from Fred's House. Playing all over the UK with the trio Said the Maiden, Hannah Elizabeth's influences are very much planted within traditional folk roots. This is in stark contrast to Griff Jameson's recent mu...sical history, having penned a string of quirky rock/pop anthems for Fred's House. Together, Elizabeth & Jameson arguably offers the best of both backgrounds; this is simplistic, classic song writing at its best - a stripped back, harmony-driven sound with guitar, violin and exquisite vocals. They have released two EP's and they are currently working on their debut album.They have opened up for the likes of Scott Matthews, Bob Fox, Richard Digance Official, John Kirkpatrick, Jon Allen and Daoirí Farrell. Second up for Performers & Pints at The Rising Sun in Potton at on Saturday 2nd March is El Jay Rose, he is a singer songwriter from Bedfordshire who plays the acoustic guitar and the piano. His style of music is acoustic, pop and alternative rock. Influences include Freddie Mercury and Queen. At the age of 16 he moved to Brighton to study for a Diploma in Artist Development in Modern Music at the BIMM Brighton - Brighton Institute of Modern Music. In May last year, Elliot re...leased his debut self released seven track album called "Empyrean Way". Elliot has performed at various music venues and pubs including The Duncombe Arms in Waresley, The White Hart in Biggleswade, The Ent.Shed at the Gordon Arms in Bedford, Busk Til Dusk at St Johns Hospice in Moggerhanger in 2016 and 2015 to name but a few. First up for Performers & Pints at The Rising Sun in Potton at 9pm on Saturday 2nd March is hazeyjane who are from Kettering in Northamptonshire. Originally an acoustic singer songwriter duo, in July 2018 they expanded into a five piece format when they performed at The Stables MK in Milton Keynes. Original members Chris Brown and Kevin T Ward are now joined by percussionist David Hopkins and backing vocalists Stephen Jones and Corine Lucy. They will be appearing as a Quartet... on Saturday 02/03/19. hazeyjane describe their music as self-penned ambient chilled acoustic material. They take their inspirations from Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley and Richard Hawley to name but a few. They have performed at The Stables MK in Milton Keynes, Folk on the Pier in Cromer, The Annual Nick Drake Gathering held in Tanworth-in-Arden in Warwickshire, the Northampton Music Festival, Stratford-Upon-Avon Folk Club, Folk on the Water in Warwickshire and at various music venues throughout the Anglia region and beyond

What a Fantastic night! Thanks to all that came along to Performers & Pints on Saturday 24th November at The Rising Sun in Potton. Congratulations to Daisy Keeble on being asked by Saracens to do some live music at their next home Rugby game on 1st December against the Wasps!
Don't forget the week before the 1st December, this coming Saturday 24/11/18, Daisy Keeble will be performing at Performers & Pints at The Rising Sun in Potton, she is currently studying at the ICMP London - The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance for a BA in Creative Musicianship which is a 3 year degree course.
