60 Years Young. 60 years ago this coming April the first Mini was demonstrated to the press. Production started in the summer of 1959 and the car was officially announced to the public in August 1959. This car is our next restoration project and is a very special car having been made in that very first year of production in 1959.
Iconic with a capital I
The Porsche 911 Turbo is Iconic. Launched at the Paris motor show in 1974 the first production versions were available in 1975 using Turbo technology adapted from Porsche racecars. In 1978 the engine was upgraded to 3.3 Litres with an intercooler which created nearly 300bhp. At the time it was the fastest car produced in Germany with a top speed of over 170mph and 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. The 911 Turbo we have for sale is one of the later more powerful 3.3 versions and looks stunning finished in the classic combination of white bodywork with black trim. Two cars for sale awaiting prep. Both have just come in and pictures are as they came in. First is a +8 LeMans edition Morgan. Very sort after model that has only done 20000 miles from new.
