On 17th May 2020 more than ten beautiful private gardens will be open to visitors in the in picturesque village of Petersham by the river in Richmond on Thames. Ticket sales go towards local charities.
Petersham Open Gardens Description
Petersham Open Gardens takes place on May 22nd this year. More than ten very different beautiful private gardens will be open to visitors in the in picturesque village of Petersham, by the river in Richmond Upon Thames.
Gardens will be open from 11am-5pm with last entry at 4pm.
Teas will be served by the WI in the village hall and in Petersham Lodge on River Lane. There will also be a BBQ outside the village hall, weather permitting.
Funds are being raised for the Petersham Environment Trust, a charitable trust dedicated to help fund environmental causes in and around the village and to the Ham & Petersham SOS, a local voluntary neighbourhood group who support the elderly and disabled.

An enormous thank you to our garden owners - how beautiful your gardens were looking - and to all the team, the scouts & families, and hosts of volunteers who worked so hard to make it a brilliant day. Charities Announced for 2018 Petersham Open Gardens was originally started to protect and retain the grazing cows on Petersham Meadows and every penny raised still goes to local charities.
At the last event in 2016 funds were given to the Petersham Environment Trust - a charitable trust dedicated to fund environment causes in and around Petersham, and Ham & Petersham SOS - a neighbourhood care group.

Discounted advance tickets are on sale now online at the reduced rate of £12 per person and £8 for concessions. (On the day: £15 per person and £10 for concessions). Entry is free for children under 16. Gardens will be open from 11am-5pm

With less than a week to go we can now reveal the locations of the twelve beautiful gardens you will be able to visit in Petersham on Sunday.
All are a short walk around the village between the Village Hall & the River Thames and the map shows how to get around them.
Delicious Teas with home-made cakes will be served at the Village Hall and at Petersham Lodge and there will be a BBQ, weather permitting.
