Piece of italy was founded in 2014 by 5 Italian guys. All of us have travelled and had amazing experiences abroad. What we realized is that there’s one thing that cannot be compared to anywhere in the world…. our food! If you were born here, you can relate.
In italy, food is very something that we really care about and take pride in preparing. You need the finest ingredients if you want to eat like Italians, but you also need to know how to do it! Which is where we come in. Cooking is considered an art, there are many things you need to know before you prepare an Italian dish. From things like which type of pasta mixes well with what sauce to knowing how big you need to slice a clove of garlic for the tomato sauce! Sure, you can go out and buy italian food at a restaurant, but wouldn’t you rather impress your family and friends by cooking them an authentic Italian meal?
If this is a challenge that you want to accept, Piece of Italy is something that you should try. We will send you a box with top quality ingredients you need to prepare your traditional Italian dish, along with a video recipe that will walk you through, step by step to perfection!

Here you can see our 5 different boxes, the colors are inspired by the main ingredients of the selected dish, with the exception of our ‘Aglio olio e peperoncino’ , it’s color is inspired by the blue of the night sky, as in Italy is a common practice to eat this dish as a “midnight snack”.
