We are so excited. Tomorrow we will take delivery of our new 'Bluebell Bell Tent' to add to our glamping units. We're looking forward to getting her set up ready for the busy season, and the first of her guests arriving in 2 weeks time. Bluebell makes an ideal glamping experience with her cosy log burner in the cooler months and the ability to roll up the sides all the way round to give perfect ventilation in this warmer weather. Where to start?



Barny and I came here impromptu after a blues festival fell through and our camping gear was at the ready.



Bliss.... 2 nights have turned into 5 (thus far....we’re still here)

It’s such a little haven of paradise.

The site is spotless and we arrived on a night of heavy rain!

The toilet/shower block is immaculate and Suzanne the owner couldn’t be more attentive (and completely un intrusive )

There is plenty to do locally, walks, ice cream farm etc. It really is a lovely place.

I highly recommend this little sanctuary of Cheshire heaven!

We will definitely be back �

What a lovely campsite, big spaces, and a lovely big space in the middle for the children (and adults) to play in. The toilets, showers and potwash area are all lovely and clean. We were lucky to be there when the pizza van visited, we had to try and they were amazing, they even made a special none tomato one for my daughter who is allergic. The Owner is lovely and greats you on arrival with lots of information about the site and the area. We will definitely be returning with friends. Thank youx

What a gem of a place. Absoulety spotless and well kept. Fabulous scenery and many places to visit. The owners are so helpful and such lovely people. They go that extra mile for you. Definitely will be returning here.

We're having a brilliant time here at Pitch and Canvas! It's such a lovely campsite with the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen whilst camping! Owners are really lovely and couldn't be more helpful with questions we had about the local area and even just stopping to chat when we past them on site. This morning the owners came round with Easter Eggs for the children which was totally unexpected - the children were very excited! The local area is really nice with dog friendly pubs about 20 - 30 minute walk away or a few minutes drive. There is also an ice cream farm down the road which we're hoping to visit later today also! Hope to come back here again as we add it to the list of favourite campsites! Thanks for having us.

We stayed for 1 night on our first real attempt at family camping and it was ideal. The pitches go around the outside of the field, leaving a big open area in the middle where our 5 and 3 year old loved playing with other children. The owners were very pleasant and the other campers (?) were friendly too.



The toilet blocks were well kept, the shower was warm, the washing up space had stainless steel sinks, hot water and draining space.



And the fresh farm eggs for breakfast were delicious! �

This site is fantastic. A great family place to camp. Family run, who are amazing, kind and caring about their campers. The facilities are clean and well maintained. A great location to see local interests.

We will defo be back, to make more happy memories as a family.

This is such a lovely site! Owners are really lovely and can't do enough for you. The toilets and showers are immaculate and have nice homely touches to them. It's a perfect location for visiting Beeston Castle and the Ice Cream Farm. You can even hire a firepit for the full camping experience. I highly recommend this campsite :)

Stayed here for 2 nights in June for my partners birthday and it was brilliant! Amazing location that is stunning and quiet, but close enough to the shops - we also went to Chester Zoo and the amazing town of Chester! The Oak Pod was so lovely and has everything you could need! Really comfy bed too - you forget you're not in a hotel! We also hired a fire pit so both nights had lovely evenings by the fire toasting marshmellows! The owners are so lovely and helpful too! Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Stayed at new year and I can not recommend this site enough, the best place we have stayed, spotless facilities, fantastic pod with everything you could need, loved it and we will be back as soon as the weather picks up X

Lovely campsite. Really nice sized field and the pitches were a great size to fit out tent and car on. The toilet blocks were cleaned everyday and were spotless. Our two year old loved seeing the chickens and watching the cows getting milked. We were allowed to help ourselves to any eggs we found in the chicken house so we had scrambled eggs one night! Great location and easy to find. We will definitely recommend this campsite to our friends and family. Booking was a breeze online which I loved. The only thing I would ask for is maybe some kindling in the firewood we bought. I never thought to bring some so starting our fire in the fire pit was harder than expected. Hopefully we will be coming back in the summer holidays x x

Just back from a fantastic weekend away at Pitch and Canvas. We absolutely loved the site! Really relaxing and so so friendly. Suzanne, Drew and the rest of the family were so welcoming and happy to let us have a look around the farm and find out what they do on a daily basis. The little lambs and calves are soo cute �. The fresh eggs are a must as well! Honestly can’t wait to go back to this site and enjoy again.

Had a great weekend stay here. Lovely flat field to pitch in. Immaculately clean toilets and showers with lots of hot water. Really friendly owners who genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful. All together a great campsite - we will definitely be back 🏕😃

Great site lovely location with plenty of space, good facilities including the shower and toilet block which was very good and clean. Would recommend and will go again. Made very welcome upon arrival, great site.

Another fantastic long weekend camping for carfest! Facilities were great, super friendly staff and fab bus service to and from carfest! Great bbq and music on Thursday night and delicious bacon baps and lattes for breakfast! �. Thanks again Suzanne and Co, everyone was saying how fab it’s been. Well done!!! Xxx

A massive thank you to the lovely owners who made our stay this Easter perfect despite the awful weather. They really care that their guests are happy and comfortable. We stayed as a family group of 13 across 4 pitches. The site is great for families and has a large area to play and lots to do within a few minutes drive or short walk. The Ice Cream farm was a big hit and the pretty village of Tattenhall has a great butcher and dog friendly pubs, our lunch at the Sportsmans pub was very good. Waking up to the sound of cows and seeing hens strolling around is a lovely way to start the day. As other people have the toilet block was spotless, one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Hopefully our next stay will be a bit sunnier!

A great little site, spotless new toilet/shower block, nice flat grassy pitches, most with electric hook ups, dogs on leads welcome.



The village ,about 20 mins walk away, has a spare, newsagents butchers a cafe/coffee shop , chip shop and a couple of pubs , one of which also doubles as a Chinese restaurant /takeaway.



On the Saturday night of our stay, there was an on site pizza van, selling fantastic pizzas made in a wood burning oven, and at a reasonable price, I don't know if it's there every Saturday , but if it is I recommend the pepperoni,ham,mushroom.



The site also has a couple of camping pods and some static chalets available, I can't comment on what they are likes we didn't go in but they looked good.



Fire pits are also available , sitting round a real fire in the evening always enhances the camping experience.



The site is on a working dairy farm so wind dependant farmyard smells are a possibility.



All in all a great site with helpful owners in a great location. We will be back.

Stayed at pitch and Canvas from 1st June -4th June 2018,we was trying our new tent out before going to the New Forest at the end of June. The site was very flat, shower block kept very clean by Suzanne the proprieter, she was always knowlegable about the area for pubs, shops, walks etc. Hopefully return in the not so distant future. Judith and Malc.

Just come back from 3 nights Suzanne was very helpful with local place to visit told us about Park and ride which was a god send Chester is very busy we will be going again most likely with rest of family
