This weekends football at the Potters Wheel

We all enjoyed the disco. This pub deserves to do well. Food is tasty, Good value for money and the staff are always friendly and polite.

Lovely evening few drinks with the hubby xx usually have food but did not fancy it due to the heat so we sat outside in the beautiful weather xx

Lovely , friendly staff , food pipeing hot couldnt fault it at alll , came with my hubby and mum in law had a great afternoon , waited abit for the food to come but pub was really full so to be expected , we shall defo be back again , Thank you for a lovely afternoon .

I visited the potters wheel tonight with my friend, we were served by the most delightful staff members. The meal was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. The service is always top notch whenever we come to visit! The brunette bar staff member who if I recall was called Ben was very friendly and made the visit very pleasing and welcoming. I have never had a problem here and all the staff are always not only very friendly and take time out of working to talk to the customers, but go out of their way to be involved in conversation. I would highly recommend the potters wheel �

A good local pub does food as well. Well worth a visit

Steady, I have good food in there every time. Others told me it depends on the chef, puddings are quality regardless. Decent atmosphere, never seen any trouble in there in 20 years of using the pub

Food fantastic staff brilliant the only let down was we saw a few areas of dirty things like lamps damaged broken and lampshades covered in marks obviously where customers had got food and drink over them...but I will visit again give them chance to put it right

Had a lovely time for daughters birthday meal food was lovely hot when we got it.. shame the service was slow and got no larger on also a group in that was very loud and drunk other than that we made the best of the night .. we will try again bar staff helpful as much as they could be ....

Great breakfast. Friendly staff nice surrounding. Menu food good to try the fish or burgers

Excellent food just lots of kids running round not what you want when your eating your dinner

piss poor service. food wasnt what we ordered and when I went to the bar to find out why,only to be to told you had ran out of rice and we were given chips. we wouldnt of ordered what we wanted if we were told you hadnt got rice but no one informed us. we asked numerous times for our daughters desert but still had to sit for 30mins for it to come. every time I asked where it was I just kept getting palmed off with the bull shit excuse that it will come in 2 mins. how hard is it to make a bloody jelly which you didn't actually make as it came in a pot that you buy from supermarkets, plus my rump steak was dry as a bone. never again!!!waste of money and my time!

Went for a meal this evening with family, meal arrived minus a sauce I had ordered which we had to ask for again! The chips were under cooked! Complained regarding the chips & said I wasn't paying for them which were removed from the bill! Went to bar following our meal to order dessert, had to wait 15 mins to get served as not enough bar staff on! Whilst waiting some staff from potters wheel who were off duty came to the bar & their language was pretty poor to say the least!! When I was eventually served the bar person served a person before me who actually turned up after me! The kitchen staff looked scruffy as where we were sitting you could see the kitchen when doors were being opened!

This place needs more bar staff asap as been here twice now in the last 2 weeks & bar service is terrible!

So if you choose to visit here be prepared to wait a very very long time!!

We came on Wednesday 4th 2018 at about 12.30 and had dinner, I ordered Cod and Chips, 5oz rump steak with peppercorn sauce, beef chilli and cheese potato skins and gammontastic. The wait for the food was quite a while considering it wasn't too busy, I asked for the starter and mains to come out all together and they came separate, although the starter came quick the mains took quite a while and when they finally did come out the chips on all three meals were really undercooked, the peas on the cod and chips tasted nutty, the peppercorn sauce didn't taste right either almost as if it had a lot of brandy in it, the eggs on the gammontastic were undercooked and slimy and there was a hair in my gammon, which was quite a shame to be fair because I was really enjoying the gammon before I had spotted that. In all we didn't really have a good experience which is strange because we normally really enjoy coming here and have never had any problems before, it's always been one of our favourite places to eat until today xx

I ordered a mega mix grill & it was cold ,so they took it back & gave me another one & that's was cold too .I wasn't happy half an hour later I finally got a my meal & this one was hot

when we arrived 05/03/17 we waiting 25 minutes at the bar waiting to be served for drinks because there was a certain group in that kept pushing in front!! after that we went up and ordered our food which is great value for money. when our food arrived there was things on our plate that we didnt want and asked for them to be taken off when we ordered and we were missing stuff that we had ordered we then waiting 15 minutes for the rest of our food to come out which then our other stuff was cold!!



when we ordered pudding we waiting 30minutes to be served to us!! you need more staff and i recommend talking to your staff for how scruffy and filthy they looked

Turned up at 11 45 with 2 other people to be told cant come in have a drink as its been dead and no customers in so tills are up and shutting early. You have just turned down an easy 30 quid plus of sales. Disgusted isnt the word

FOOD POISONING After leaving 2 emails and receiving no response i am now wriitting where everyone can see i visited here on 6th april with 4 friends 3 meals came out cold which was prawns and steak i returned it only for it to be returned withinn 2 minutes warmer but not boiling prawns looked a funny colour and were only warm i ate them which my friends didnt after arriving home 2 hours later i was vomining for 24 hours and felling rotten never felt so poorly in my life still feeling rotten now 3 dayd on

Came yesterday the fopd was poor. My fish had no taste bar the batter witch tasted of just sunflower oil! Very bland and sickly! . My friend had the soas and mash that looked a litter better than my fish but the mash was so thick . Only thig i can say is that we only waited ten mins for it to come. So if u like fast food but dbt mknd poor quility come here
