Phil Elkind has been involved in the music industry for many years. He started off in the early 1970's (when he was still wearing short trousers) as a roadie for local bands, and also running what they used to call a mobile disco. He had residencies as a DJ in Glasgow clubs.

After some years in the industry he went into financial services as an independent financial advisor. After a long and successful spell in this sector, Phil decided to resurrect his career in the music industry, this time going into promotions, management, and bookings, forming P& P Promotions.

During this current period he has organised tours and managed bands, including Halo Transmission, also working with Rich Freed, Lital Ami and Jono, who are all singer /songwriters. Phil has also worked with international stars, such as Idan Raichel Project, Geva Alon, and with Izabo in recent years. P& P Promotions is now happy to welcome aboard Laid8 to our family. They are an incredible alternative heavy metal band, fronted by an amazing female vocalist.

He has also turned his hand to comparing and being link man at most of the gigs he puts on locally, acting as manager, promoter, and /or booking agent, depending on the needs of the individual acts he works with. Phil's integrity, honesty and passion for music are of legendary proportions. He has amazing energy and drive, and only wants to give 110% to all his artists and clients alike.
