It's a one-of-a-kind farming magazine started in 1992 by dairy farmer Mike Donovan who got into making and adapting things in his workshop and thought it useful for farmers to get to share their ideas and projects. The publication remains 48 printed pages and you can subscribe or buy in local newsagents. It still focusses on the projects and since 2014 has had a major section on soil. Why? Because Mike discovered his knowledge of soil was minimal, even after 25 years as a farmer. The more he learned how to look after it the more important he believed it was to get the message out. This was long before any of the UK farming media had got onto it. Independently published, all editorial (no advertising) so no advertorial. Ideal for agricultural students and college lecturers as well as farmers, workers and all involved in farming.
