Reviews
The whole production, performance, costumes, entertain ment, set up and profesionalism was outstanding. Complements also to Princes staff who went out of their way to help people to find and get to their seats. The queue for refreshments was kept moving very efficiently and everyone back in there seats in good time after ther break. Wondeerful evening.
The princes theatre is great I have seen many shows over the years there all great but I must say last night's it'll be the day was outstanding as good as any west end musical
Pay a visit with a friend and we both enjoyed the show will be coming back Christmas time
Just watched beauty and the beast in panto, it was my first panto at this theatre and I certainly wasn't let down, it was absolutely fantastic, will defiantly book tickets for next year's panto.
I was lucky enough to enter and win a competition for 2 tickets to see Rod Stewart Some Guys Have All The Luck.
I would just like to say thank you so much to Princes Theatre for these tickets, the seats were amazing the staff were fantastic and so Was Rod it was a very enjoyable evening.
I see the Whitney Houston tribute act & she was amazing , the atmosphere was great , there was people dancing & singing, I would highly recommend anyone to go & see her ,
I will defo be going to these tribute evenings again as they are worth every penny 😀
Having Won a competition to watch Wrestling tonight , I have got two very happy girls who throughly enjoyed themselves as they have never been before my son and husband have so it was a very new experience for them . It was a fantastic night , we had great seats could see everything that was going on and the atmosphere was brilliant with all the booing and cheering . We will definitely come again it was a great family night out
Had the best time ever last night with a much emotional, fabulous, Whitney Houston tribute the greatest love of all, with the most amazing family and friends from Clacton who made us feel so welcome
Brilliant performance. Everything perfect.
Thank you so much for the Complimentary tickets to Beauty and the Beast . It was great fun . The stage scenes were beautiful as we're
The costumes . Great effort by the cast well done !
Panto was excellent! First time at this particular theatre and panto and was very pleased. :)
Mercury were fantastic and well worth the price, although thought the concessionry price could have been a bit more than just 50p off the normal price. Also was a little bit upset when my wife was told off for dancing in the centre aisle, we have never had a problem with this in the past. Having said this for a local venue the princes theatre is great and would recommend it to all
Les musicals was an absolutely brilliant show but what happened to the special guest soprano as listed in the brochure?
Went to see the Jive Aces there. They were good but the venue was seriously lacking any style. The tiered seats gave a good view but little atmosphere and at 5'9" I struggled with how little space I had to move. The bar was poor with 2 staff who struggled to keep up and a minimal bar list and the whole place had the feeling of a school gym.
The show was good ( Vienna ballet were good, not as good as the Russian ballet group). The venue was good and easy to find. The place was much bigger than I thought, easy to find your seats, friendly staff, albeit walls and stalls are somewhat dates with some repairs/ paint/etc needed. But still, very good show in quite a local place that made it easy and accessible for us. Thank you for all the hard work
The Illegal Eagles were brilliant
Venue was good but they need more staff in the bar, had to que for about 15 minutes to get a drink , went to sit down and the show was starting . Same thing happened again at interval plus big que for ladies loo 😞
Not a good set up for wheelchairs (wheelchair accessible but not wheelchair friendly) considering its an area with lots of elderly and disabled it would be worth investing in redesigning the seat layout to include wheelchair friendly area. Bar seriously needs looking at, nice staff but they need training to a higher standard. Venue has a lot of potential for just a small investment.
Went Friday to see the Jive Aces. Fantastic band but we're let down by the venue. Not enough staff on duty. 20 minute wait to be served at the bar is unacceptable. The hall itself is tired and dated. Need to spend some money on getting things right
Very dissapointed in the Queen show. Not at all like Queen. Very short show. Wouldnt recommend it at all
