Wonderful service, offered beer for tasting, great food.
Wonderful old pub with great gin selections. We shared an excellent baked Caemembert served by friendly staff. We plan to return
We were on one of our walking around the town days and became very hungry. Went upstairs and was seated right away. Food came quickly and was delicious. Next time we are in London we will visit again.
We had dinner here one night during our recent travels to the U.K. The manager was absolutely fantastic & very accommodating with our requests. Meals were amazing. Recommend this place to anyone.
Was not too bad very busy but the toilets absolutely stank to high heaven which lets it down
Very nice place. First floor is cooler then upstairs. Good food and of course very good beer
Very cozy and quaint place, love to visit with my wife
This is such a great place.
Amazing atmosphere, hard working and diligent staff, and such lovely charm.
Always a worth a visit when you to London
Super place! We ate there four times during our visit to London and loved it. We had super service and great food.
Stopped in for breakfast it was delicious. Keep up the good work.
Pre Theatre meal, it was absolutely delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back
Nice pub, very welcoming and dinning room quaint. Highly recommended!
Lovely meal upstairs then a couple of great pints of Guinness in the bar downstairs. We will be back, very enjoyable
Incredible food in a cozy setting. Sitting upstairs with a window view, enjoying a hot, savory meat pie with the best flakey crust, paired with a glass of Cabernet was beyond belief. Loved it!
Handy for Charing Cross station, for London prices aren't steep, staff are always polite. Shame Louisa has left but Venessa is a diamond
Had never been to an English pub before but this was just what I imagined. Really liked the Hells lager!
Great staff, fantastic atmosphere really great place
Great pub just by Charing Cross station. Good selection of drink and food.
Great lunch yesterday, very good portions, good service very nice all round. Will be back when next in London
Great looking pub, nice beers and location. Busy because of the Marathon, but served very quickly! Well worth a visit! 🍻
Great little pub with a big heart. Best sausage sandwich I have had in a pub in a long while.
Great food, great service, my visitors from Kiwiland loved it
Great English pub that serves up some nice pommy grub upstairs. Highly recommend the beef pie with mash, greens and liquor.
Good service and lovely food, large portions too!
Didn't go to the downstairs bar but did visit the restaurant upstairs and loved it so much the first night came back again the night after. Food was amazing and so was the dessert!! And would really like to say thank you to Moona (sorry if not spelt correctly) but you were amazing and super friendly. A big thumbs up from three Australians
Best sharing platter in England. Lovely and welcoming staff and a great atmosphere xx
A really nice and friendly experience, just the way a good pub should be.
A hidden gem of a restaurant, great when you have a whole Street of them and everywhere packed!, it was a haven of peace and quiet ( until a rowdy table appeared) and the food was the best we'd had in London for a long time. Thanks for a wholesome start to a busy afternoon!
Nice place to have a few drinks before a show or waiting for the train
Lovely pub, friendly helpful staff and good food. Set in a great location lots to see and enjoy. Recommend a visit.
Great Pub staff very friendly beer 🍺 great
Good food and large portions served hot! Would recommend ifnin the area.
Didnt have food but nice pint and wife had a nice mulled wine service was good 2
5 stars for location and good service, real ale quality somewhat variable
Popped in for pre theatre drink nice little pub although the idiot in the corner that threw a shot glass to attract someone's attention at the bar in my opinion should have been asked to leave!!
I had wine and originally was given to me in a plastic glass??? I expect them in a garden BBQ not in a pub! So had to ask for glass the girl was new and we all gotta learn but maybe show her the ropes before she starts to serve people was at the bar ages got two drinksall in all quite stressful
Plactic Glasses and warm Beer and too much light!!!
Ive walked past this pub so many times and always wanted to stop for a pint. Finally I did and tbh was rather disappointed. The IPA was off, I guess that happens, but so early on a Sunday afternoon!!! The toilets were lacking soap or any sign of any recently, which is basic hygiene surely! oh well, at least we gave it a go.
Poor service ordered a Guinness & the bar maid completely forgot about it & left me standing at the bar whilst she continued to serve other customers.i had to get her attention & after receiving a rude response,I had to remind her I was still waiting for my drink.avoid the nacho's at all cost.I ordered a regular portion for around £6.95.it was the smallest bowl of nacho's I ever seen & they were not of good quality.over all poor service, poor food.i would not recommend this place.
Plastic glasses wtf is that all about in this day and age?
