Due to a few enquiries and a slightly misleading review that seems to have been left for us on Trip Advisor some time ago. We do not now or have we ever offered gluten free Fish and Chips. What we do have though is alternatives for people with gluten intolerance, such as: grilled fish with jacket potatoes, salads etc. Apologies for any confusion! We hope this makes it clear. Anything posted on Trip Advisor does not come from us and is purely the opinion of the customer and sadly it’s not always accurate. We would just like to remind our customers that we will not be doing deliveries on Friday Saturday and Sunday during Airbourne. But we look forward to welcoming you all at the restaurant. 🙂🐟🍽✈️ Our opening times over Airbourne will be: 11am -10pm We will be unable to reserve tables due to how busy it will be so it will be strictly first come first served. Just to let all our regular customers know that The Qualisea Fish Restaurant will be closed from 5pm on Thursday the 14th December as it is our annual Christmas staff party 🌲 Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Just to let all our customers know that our delivery service is closed over Airbourne (Thursday 17th - Sunday 20th) due to the large amount of traffic that makes honouring our delivery time impossible. And also due to the high volume of customers in the restaurant and on the take away. We hope you all enjoy Airbourne - service will resume as normal on Monday! ✈️✈️✈️

We would just like to thank all our customers for their support at our charity day last Friday. We managed to raise £1,500 for each charity, so a total of £3,000. It was a great day & evening, so thank you to all our loyal customers, friends and family who turned up to support us and make the day such a success.
Thank you to all the local businesses that donated prizes for the raffle, most winners have now been contacted.
The cheques will be presented to both charities next Wednesday afternoon (14th June). Thanks again for all your support!

Also, come and buy some raffle tickets to be in with a chance to win some great prizes - the raffle will be drawn in the restaurant at 8:30pm on the day. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped over the last 24 hours and the overwhelming support with identifying the three individuals on our CCTV. We now have all three names and it has been handed over to the police with the footage.
I ask everyone to bare in mind that these people have innocent family and there are also children involved too. So for this reason we have now deleted the video.
On a more positive note we have been inundated with people offering support to ...the two charities involved (St Wilfred's hospice and the JPK project). And in response to this, we will be holding a charity day on National fish and chip day, which is Friday 2nd June and 50% of takings on that day will be split between both charities.
So please share this post and spread the word. Let's make a positive out of a negative!!

After two long days of having our brand new fish fryers fitted - it's finally complete! We are back open as normal now :) thanks for your patience. 🐠🐟

Just to let everyone know, Qualisea will be closed this evening and tomorrow due to the instillation of our new fish fryers. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. We will be open again as usual from Wednesday.

We are looking for a new member of staff to work on the take away at Qualisea. It will require you to work evenings and Saturdays. Experience preferred but not essential, we are happy to train an enthusiastic and hard working person. This weekend there is an end of an era at Qualisea - as we say a fond farewell to our longest serving member of staff: Elida, who has worked at Qualisea for 38 years, she will now spend some well deserved time with her family. She will be sadly missed by the family, staff and many customers who she has severed regularly and became friendly with over the decades. We all wish you a very happy retirement Elida, enjoy the rest!
