Went to the Quartpot yesterday for the first time (have been in wickford 20years) and today and what an excellent experience, lovely pub, lovely beer, and lovely beer garden...... excellent all round experience will be back soon

Well done Quart Pot what an amazing service from the moment we booked the marquee to all the preparation even down to the way you decorated it on the night.. Ryan and the other guy ( sorry did not get your name ) was fab with my little boy letting him help decorate and helping him add extra balloons and the Buffett was perfect. Highly recommend

We regularly frequent this pub as we're local to the area, and as always everyone at the Quart Pot were warm, friendly and welcoming, it's a great place to come for a lovely evening meal and drinks. Kirsty did a wonderful job of looking after us, as usual, as did Sarah, Laura and Ryan. Thank you much to you all

Tried the Toby carvery 1st just up the road as we hadn't booked anything and thought we wouldn't get anywhere else and it was an hour and half wait and like a cattle market no where to sit and awful and one of the waitress's was extremely rude and unhelpful so we left and thought we would give the quart pot a try and there was 7 of us the lady behind the bar was so helpful all the staff were and they managed to squeeze us in we all had the Sunday roast it was lovely with extra roasts yorkshires and gravy

Then we all had deserts couldn't fault it friendly atmosphere great food good wine defo be going back and definitely worth the extra bit of money x

Regularly meet friends here and tonight was another really nice evening

Recently visited the quart pot was meant to be meeting someone and they never showed up. Felt pretty low at this point but was soon cheered up . By a kind friendly polite young barmaid called Kirsty. Who served me my drinks and spoke to me and kindly rang me a cab . A credit to the quart pot. X

Our Walking group started & finished at the Quart Pot on the 23rd January. We ordered lunch and drinks for when we got back from our walk. The service and staff could not have been better, as soon as we arrived back we got our drinks, then just a few minutes later we got our food....there were 20 of us too. They also had a Wake there, so a lot of catering and organising was needed....well done Quart Pot.

Lovely pub, great food and great atmosphere. Only down side I can find is trying to leave. The road is very busy at peak times and difficult to get out of the car park x

Had a lovely afternoon watching the royal wedding, while eating a delicious afternoon tea. Tables were decorated red,white and blue, which added to the atmosphere. Staff and food were fantastic as usual. Thanks Gemma and team, keep up the good work!

Brilliant pub. Food is always fantastic. Great beer garden. Popular quiz night on a Sunday & the staff are always friendly. Big thumbs up to the manager who let me test a gin I hadn’t tried before.

Best pub in Essex! Great atmosphere, amazing beer garden, nice food and great landlady and staff! There isn’t much to do in Wickford, so having the live singer nights and of course the odd karaoke night, has been a really nice addition to the pub.

Always drive past but never go in, decided to go today for lunch with our young son and it was great, staff were friendly, food was lovely, atmosphere was relaxed, will definitely be visiting more often.

Went yesterday for our Xmas meal! We had a really nice xmas. The staff were lovely, smiley and happy to help. The food was delicious, only thing that could of been improved were the roast potatoes, which were ok but some didnt have much flavour, everything else was exceptional. Pretty sure we will be back next year. Thanks quort pot x

There was a long wait for the food but it was worth it and, as it was Friday evening, the bar was very busy. The member of staff who dealt with our table was very friendly and helpful. One complaint, a member of our group ordered the sea bream and when it arrived, it had a previously unmentioned mussel accompanying it. Our group member has a severe allergy to mussels and would not have ordered the fish if she had known about the mussel so maybe it could be added to the menu.

We have been coming here for ten years on a weekly basis and i have never complained or returned a meal until today . My hubby had the chicken burger which was about a 1/4 inch thick and so dry he could hardly chew it x my fish in a parcel was grey and smelt of fish which as an ex fishmonger i know is not fresh at all . Very dissapointing .

Ordered fish finger focaccia when it arrived it looked like a large piece of fish ( not fish fingers) but was just a large piece of batter with very small amount of fish inside! Very disappointed
