Thursday 1st February is the day to ditch the January detox as fun-loving Shoreditch restaurant Rascals and Mary Camemberry host their first Fromage à Trois cheese party. Rascals has partnered with Tottenham-based cheesemonger, The Urban Cheese Maker, to bring Londoners the ultimate fromage fest. There will be three brielliant ways to indulge, with guests treated to a DIY mozzarella masterclass, an indulgent cheesy French classic, and entertainment from Mary Camemberry.
The e...vening will kick off in Rascals’ Playroom with Head Chef Heritier Nsemi guiding guests through a hands on mozzarella masterclass. The completely waterproof Playroom allows guests to get messy, twisting, balling and plaiting curd to create their own starter. Having worked at the refined Royal Hospital Road and Petrus, Chef Nsemi will be on hand to impart his culinary wisdom, but only if guests listen caerphilly.
Once seated guests can enjoy all the theatre of L’Aubrac region’s iconic classic, aligot, pronounced ‘ah-lee-go’. This rich, stretchy, smooth and silky dish sees fluffy mashed potatoes doused in half their weight in melted cheese, served with the traditional pairing of Boudin Blanc and Chef’s rich French onion gravy. The dish is melted and served table-side, creating perfect Insta-worthy cheese pulling moments. Vegetarian options available.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Rascals party without input from their brielliant host Mary Camemberry who’ll be on hand with games, entertainment and prizes, including free drinks and the chance to win your own weight in cheese from The Urban Cheese Maker - any fromage fetishists dream. The whole evening will be set to a soundtrack of cheesy classics and sing alongs.

THE BEST BOTTOMLESS IN TOWN! Bottomless espresso martinis, comedy gameshow, certain wheel of misfortune and the giant card game higher or lower!
Went there to enjoy the bottomless brunch comedy show featuring Ginger Flappaje and GC. The show was interactive and hilarious Ginger was 'on' the whole time and the games were great. At no point was my glass ever empty, we had bottles of prosecco on the tables and espresso martinis on the go. The food was ok the pasta main came out cold and the toast on the appetiser was so hard we couldn't cut through it but let's face it you don't go for the food. It's was all about the show and the drink and in that they never failed.
I would highly recommend this to everyone.
Went here during the soft launch and wow it's so cool! The decor is unlike anything in shoreditch, so different. The food is spot on, and the cocktails are so strong I'm having my birthday in the waterproof room in a few weeks!
We went to the Rascals for our friend's birthday. We took a shared menu for 9 people and had an amazing time!! Thanks so much!!!!
We tried the WHOLE menu and everything was brilliant! Cocktails were delicious too. Fun concept with a private dining room fit for food fights, literally!! Can’t wait to go back AND Ballie Ballerson is right next door for an after party! :)
We had an amazing time at Rascals ! Food is good and very generous, cocktails are original. The staff is absolutely nice and welcoming. We definitely recommend this concept restaurant !
Love the place, the food, the stuff, the decor and the ambience. Let's hope it doesn't get too busy when you have to wait for hours to get a table.
It was a fantastic discovery! great choice of dishes, sophisticated.
trendy local.
Courteous, young and friendly staff.
I think this is my new favourite place in London. The food is wonderful and the staff are super helpful and friendly especially with our really awkward table of a pescatarian, a lactose intolerant and someone with serious allergies to nuts and shellfish! All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we all had an amazing experience. I will be coming back again and again.
I have to change this review as we had an amazing night here - after the mix up with the restaurant the manager called us and arranged us to go to the ballpit bar next door which we already planned - but to make up for it gave us 2 free cocktails each, vip to the ballpit and also let us go in the private ballpit all free of charge and brought cocktails out with sparklers for my girlfriends birthday. They made a genuine apology for the mix up and made the night extra special to make up for it and did an excellent job
I celebrated my birthday at Rascals last night and we had a blast. The staff are very friendly especially our hostess (Olaya) was phenomenal and made our night special with her energy and infectious smiles. The food was really good and new. O highly recommend it. Thanks RAscals for making my night a great one!
Hands downs best bottomless brunch ever - excellent food, endless drinks and great games. It has such an epic vibe and staff were extremely attentive - never an empty glass on the table! They've absolutely nailed it, perfect for an awesome afternoon with a group of friends! Highly recommend!
Had the best night at Rascals on Saturday, delicious food, amazing cocktails and a great vibe. The team were super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!
Great food, love the sharing dishes concept. The food is delicious! A real fusion from around the world. Particular favourites were the cerviché, the lobster roll and the cod (I highly recommend!). The vibe is on point, the waiters know their stuff and even went out of their way to create me a mocktail (off menu) based on flavours I chose. Well done Rascals! I can see this concept being a huge success.
Absolutely amazing!! As someone who has worked in Michelin started establishments, I can't fault the food, service or drinks!
Absolutely amazing and definitely recommend to everyone!!! After a terrible day you completely made our night and made my friends Hen Do perfect! A special thank to Margarita for everything you did for us we will definitely come back again xxx
A wonderful new restaurant run by the clever person behind the Django Bango “Gold Rush” and Ballie Ballerson. An original concept featuring original tasty cocktails and highly original food. Only criticism would be that the service might be a little slow at times because it’s a brand new operation (these things get fixed over time whilst the team bond a little better and find more in the way of natural synergy). They’re open till 1am too, so it’s a great place to visit if you’re hungry on the way to a gig in Shoreditch or on the way back.
A fantastic friendly vibe. Staff were friendly and informative. We loved being able to see out onto the street. The Cocktails were delicious and the art/food was impressive. Delicious small plates of delightful visually pleasing food that was both trendy and yummy. I highly recommend this restaurant for couples and groups of friends. The most delicious Sancerre and wacky and innovative cocktails. Well done Rascals, we shall return and if you haven't visited yet, it has to be on the wish list.
Went for a friend's birthday dinner on Saturday and loved the cocktails. However, some of the food served was not up to standard - there was a rare cooked stake which was chewy and the elements that made up one of the desert simply didn't work. Apart from this, everything eslse was fine.
TERRIBLE VALUE FOR MONEY
The food was an obvious rip off , the portions are absolutely tiny it’s shocking , and they charge full London prices . We ordered chips and guacamole to share and received 1 chip each between 4 ...
The cocktails are well presented and tasted nice but the food was a complete disaster ,
I wouldn’t recommend to eat here again .
