About Rcgp London Journal Of Primary Care

Best primary health care practice in London – and beyond

Rcgp London Journal Of Primary Care Description

London Journal of Primary Care is a web-based journal for, and by, all those medical and non-medical professionals that make primary care in London so challenging, innovative, vibrant and exciting, and an example to other urban communities throughout the world. There have been two print issues each year but from 2012 it will be web based only.

It is a stimulating resource of academic and practical support. It is designed so that its contributors, its readers – and you - can use it for exchanging ideas on the very best practice and for ensuring that primary care in London continues to represent a beacon of modern, high-quality service delivery.

The previous publications of the three London faculties of the Royal College of General Practitioners are now replaced by London Journal of Primary Care - a stimulating resource of academic and practical support.

We are currently looking for additional peer reviewers – so if you are interested in getting involved, please email indicating your areas of expertise.

Good primary care practice deals with wholes as well as parts, seeing
people with all their humanity, and getting beyond superficial explanations
to reveal things that really matter. This is why a primary care-led health service
is more efficient than a specialist-led one.
