We took our little boy (5yo) out for tea at the Red Lion for the first time tonight as it was his birthday and what can I say? WOW. Service was fantastic, staff were friendly & very welcoming & most importantly the food was homemade and of excellent quality. Family of 4.5 had mains & drinks for less than £40! Can't beat that value for money! We will certainly be back! Highly recommended! ☺️

My sister and I and my 15 year old daughter went to The Red Lion on the 04/04/2018 for our Nannie's wake. We came up from a small town called Amble in Northumberland. The pub is very welcoming and homely and the staff are extremely friendly. Thank you for providing a lovely venue for the wake. Hopefully we'll be back in the future.x

I spend a lot of time in the pub at weekends every 1 is so friendly Andrea Trevor & all the staff r great so much so as from Monday I became a new member of staff my self look forward 2 the future .

I have visited The Red Lion on numerous occasions and each time I have had professional, high quality service. The staff are very warm and welcoming and the food is not only of a high standard but great value.

Had another beautiful meal at the Red Lion tonight.

Food was delicious and service superb.

Can't wait for the next meal xxxx
