We stopped overnight on a spa break to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary, we throrougly enjoyed the spa facilities, our room was wonderful, the surroundings are idyllic, the 3 course evening meal was superb, we paid a £9 supplement for sirloin steak and was worth every penny, absolutely delicious, the breakfast was lovely too. Only criticism you could do with some cakes to offer with your coffee in the bar area, but that’s just us wanting coffee and cake - lovely relaxing break - we will be back - booked it through Groupon and paid £10 extra for the upgraded room which was worth every penny 😃

The staff were very welcoming, the room was very clean and I loved the old features of the hotel. DBB was great. Evening meal was delicious and the breakfast was very filling. I loved the quiet relax atmosphere and the Spa was so relaxing. It wasn’t the first time at Redworth and it won’t be my last. Fabulous time celebrating our anniversary 👏👏

Stayed here last night with my boyfriend & our two friends, can’t fault the place at all its beautiful from turning up the driveway , the building itself is stunning as are the grounds , rooms are lovely & the staff are very accommodating not forgetting polite & always on hand , it’s immaculate throughout, the food is nothing short of perfection, I would highly recommend anybody too try here , we will definitely be going again & have even spoke of considering our wedding here , we came on the offer what’s available at the minute witch is fantastic worth every penny , thank you all for great time �

Read some bad reviews totally uncalled for . Lovely hotel , food excellent, rooms really good big bed,tv and the shower and bath really good. All staff friendly and helpful there was 4 of us all toghter and each one of us loved it the pool and sauna ect good ect don't know how people can complain to be honset 64 each for room , 3 course meal and full English and use of facilities be hard pushed to find better value . Will be back 😁

Lovely hotel, we are in a delux spa room and it’s great bit warm as air con not working but they have give us a fan. Sp facilities good, pool lovely, had massage and facial today and that was excellent. Food nice in restaurant, bit pricey for bar food and drinks but about the same as other hotels

Booked a 1 night DBB offer for our wedding anniversary Friday 30th June . Couldn't fault the hotel 1 bit , the staff were lovely and our room was nice and clean . The restaurant was outstanding the food was delicious , something for all tastes on the 3 course set menu . The buffet breakfast was beautiful all fresh , hot food lots to choose from . We used the spa facilities on the morning as we had a late 12pm checkout ,again couldn't fault it will 100% be returning thanks for a lovely stay xxx

Amazing!! Don't get the bad reviews saying the rooms weren't very nice etc. We booked for a spa night inc a 3 course meal each and the price was brilliant for what we got. Our room was ready 2 hours before expected so we could check in before going to the spa. Beautiful four poster bed, lovely decor, massive bathroom and very clean. Our meal was absolutely gorgeous! Will definitely be back.

We stayed here last weekend after seeing the Groupon deal.

The room was lovely and the food was ok, pleased it was in with the deal or I don't know if I would have been happy paying full cost for it.

All the staff were friendly and attentive.



The bar/lounge area was quite small tho and was busy so we didn't sit there in the evening we just went back to our room.

Maybe a pool table or extra bar/lounge would be nice. But over all was lovely and would stay again.

We had an overnight stay on 31st May and it was lovely...

The staff were all very friendly, they spoke in the corridors in passing and were helpful when we needed anything!

The spa facilities were undergoing renovation while we were there which was only a minor thing and not worth complaining about the way others have in their reviews!

We had a 3 course meal on the evening which was absolutely amazing... the food was beautifully cooked and the service was fantastic...



Redworth certainly lives up to it's 4* status in our eyes

Very clean place with nicely presented and well trained staff. Food in the restaurant was second to none. My only regret is we only booked for one night so we couldn’t really take advantage of any of the health spa offers. I recommend you book appointments as your booking your room. Or better still, book for two night. We certainly will next year.

Stayed at Redworth Hall 12-13th May - a present off the in-laws for my partner's and daughter's birthdays.



We stayed in a family room - 405 - as a family of 5. Two adults, 2 kids and a toddler. Room was huge, spacious and reasonably clean - although upon checking out as I was making up the beds, one of the single beds appeared to have a bodily fluid stain upon the duvet (blood) which was rather disappointing. If I'd noticed prior to going to sleep I'm sure I could have asked the staff to change it and I'm sure they would have obliged with no issues, so that would have been rectified if they'd had the chance.



The bathroom was dated, but clean.



The pool area was ok - quite a lot of black mould, and the outlets where the pool drains were sickened filthy, so had to warn my children not to put their hands in.



If you go in the pool with your children, maybe be prepared for some eye rolling from the adults paying for a spa experience/or having a relaxing weekend away - though I appreciate people may be taking a break from their own children and don't want to be confronted by someone else's. The hotel isn't really aimed at kids/families, but we didn't feel unwelcome by staff, and obviously this is dependent upon the other guests staying that weekend.



The food in the restaurant was nice, and the waiting staff very attentive.

Myself and wife stayed for one night special,a Christmas gift !we arrived and were greeted very warmly by the lady on front desk! The hotel itself is a lovely buildings is the grounds ! Majority of staff are great the room clean and modern.

The food is of a high standard .

The only problem we faced was lack of communication between front of house and kitchen team ! As We had to wait 55 mins to receive our main courses!After our starters were taken away (which were very tasty!)After having to ask waiter twice then speak to the matre’d before we eventually had the rest of our meal with no explanation why we had to wait so long.

Basically we were forgotten about and if that had been said I’d of been happy with that due to being an honest answer ! All in all bar the dining experience ! A very pleasant stay

My boyfriend took me here for a birthday surprise. Reception staff were lovely and room was lovely and clean. We went to the spa for a while which I enjoyed however it’s quite small considering the amount of rooms the hotel has we couldn’t get a seat round the pool the whole time we were there. The food let down our whole experience. We got a 3 course meal with our stay. The starters were beautiful the mains however 🤢. I got garlic and herb marinated chicken it was cooked well however was totally tasteless not even a hint of garlic. My partner got the Angus burger when it came it was quite large so he cut it in half and it was still totally raw in the middle. The waiter was great and took it back for a new one however by this point we were both put off our food! I’m so pleased we got the meal within our package and didn’t have to pay for it. Other than that we had a great relaxing day and night

Greeted by a nice lad on reception, given a very nice clean room, had a sandwich and a half talking to a friendly barman. Enjoyed a relaxing swim and sauna, had a perfectly served delicious evening meal. Watched France v Belgium in the bar. Had a good nights sleep and piping hot buffet breakfast. Enjoyed every minute of our one day treat and will definitely go again. For a Longer stay.

Attended the murder mystery event last night, absolutely brilliant from start to finish, took advantage of the overnight stay offer which was really good value, room was a lot bigger than expected, super king bed, nice selection of teas/coffee, however the bathroom definitely lacked basic housekeeping. Hair on the shower wall, dirty tiles and the mirrors in the bedroom were filthy. Other than that a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return

I Have used the facilities at Redworth Hall for a couple of year now. Mainly the spa area to have a swim and relax a little nothing spectacular. I went up this evening to see about using the pool for an hour and was told that the prices have increased for non members to £25 per visit. The previous price was only £10. The ladybon shift explained it simply wasn't worth it for only 2 hours, I requested if the price could be reduced as it was such a short time and use said he manager wouldn't sign off. I'm disappointed in this as it now makes the facilities inaccessible for a day to day basis. Such a shame really.

While staying at Redworth Hall 24th & 25th May (away from the establishment) I sustained an injury to my leg. (Torn Achilles’ tendon and ruptured calf muscle) I arrived back to the hotel at 11.30 pm by taxi with crutches and a cast on my leg. I went to the reception to ask for a key to be cut for my room. I also asked if they had a wheelchair and I was told no. I was given my key and started on my way to the room in agony. I had gotten about 3 steps away from reception and to my disbelief the guys behind reception were blatantly taking the piss out of me. With tears rolling down my face I carried on and got to the bar where a lovely couple (guests) sat me down, bought me a drink and calmed me down. They could see the sheer agony I was in. They also helped me back to my room. (Thanks again) still with no help from any member of staff. The next morning I made it down to breakfast with help from my friends that I was staying with. A lovely employee seen I was struggling and offered to get me a wheelchair (the wheelchair that apparently they did not have the night before) he then pushed me to breakfast. I am shocked by the blatant rudeness of the staff that night and therefore I am leaving this review. For staff to leave me feeling as I did was disgraceful.

We arrived at the hotel at about 4pm the outside of the hotel and grounds looked lovely, we were checked in and given room 217, the room was appalling and not something I'd expect from a "4" star hotel. The windows were covered in mould and being heavily pregnant was not comfortable at all staying in this room, the silicone alongside the bath was scruffy, the carpet was coming up and the backboard on the bed was all peeling leaving little black leather shreddings on the pillows! We then went down to the spa to be greeted by a very noisy pool area with very few seats - an impossible place to sit and relax! As we came out the changing rooms a few of the tiles were very loose which could have easily give you a nasty cut or trip- again being 7 months pregnant god knows what this would have caused for me. We did ring reception to complain and put through to the duty manager he assured us that he would change our room. We were then checked into room 111 which was an upgraded room - it was better however very dated and greeted by birds poo all over the window as soon as we arrived. However we had a 3 course meal in the restaurant and could not fault the service of the waiting staff or food- very tasty.

Just got back after an awful experience. Room was unclean ("personal hair" on bathroom walls had not even bothered to Hoover) meal was inedible sent back one starter next one not much better, all meals were barely warm. After a 45 minute wait for desert we walked out without finishing our meal. There was a wedding party in who were not exactly the characters you would wish to share your romantic break away with. Police were called to escort people off the premises and throughout the night people from the wedding party were running up and down corridors knocking loudly on doors meaning no sleep. We were refused taller glasses for a spirit with lemonade and given tiny breakfast glasses and told this was because people steal the tall glasses and they only have 1.

I spoke to the duty manager who was a lovely lady and some supplements were discounted approx £50 but we still have paid for Dinner Bed and breakfast which really was not worth bothering with. We had late check out but didn't bother taking advantage we just wanted to be out as soon as possible.
