Unbelievably, next week we will be a whole year old. Wowsers!
So, as is becoming the norm for any Ribs & Co celebration, we will be Ribfesting all next week from Monday 20th until Sunday 26th November. All you can eat ribs for only £20/person....so get your rib-on and come and join us for some happy rib filled days and nights 😁
We will be running a prize raffle up until the end of the year, where you will have the chance to win free food or drink every day, as our little than...k you to everyone for supporting us. And next week will also see a few new additions to our menu which will include new glazes for our wings and ribs, new flavour milkshakes, a new burger or two and a couple of daily deals thrown in for good measure.
The last year has been a truly magical experience. We have loved all the chats, the laughter and advice given, so a big thank you from us to you for all the recommendations to friends, nods in the right direction, tweaks to the menu or the feedback received where we got things wrong, it has all been part of our amazing journey and made us, Ribs & Co feel part of this fab community we now call home. Thank you 😀
We look forward to seeing you all soon and yes before anyone asks, early 2018 will see the launch of takeaway and as we have been threatening to do draft beer since we opened, that will also be a welcome addition to the menu too, if we can make a final decision on the beer that is!

Ribs & Co are bringing pulled pork back for this weeks special and created the Barbara Burger 😁
We have simply double stacked the pork in our seeded bap added lashings of our coleslaw and the usual suspects of lettuce and tomato with fries and our new house pickles on the side for only £10.

Wow, where has the time gone, we know it has been too long since our last hello, sorry.
So what is new and happening on sunny George Street, the home of ribs in Hailsham. Well the boys at Wobblegate, the juice of emporium of the South have provided us with two new cheeky ciders, four berries and apple are both carbonated, canned and an early call I know but I think we can definitely say they are summer in a tin, one to try next time you are here for sure.
Our Sunday Lunch Cl...ub has just got a little bit better too, you can now enjoy a burger on our chilled out Sunday sessions. So not only can you get our fresh roast chicken, ribs and fries but we have added the Alan burger and the Veggie & halloumi burger to the menu. All this is served between midday and 2.30pm every Sunday, with a few chilled tunes thrown into the mix for good measure.
We have been chatting about doing specials since we first opened and we are finally ready to launch these little beauties at you all, starting next weekend, just in time for the bank holiday. So watch this space for an update but the first one we think will be an absolute porker!
We are fast approaching our first six month anniversary, which is incredible and we all want to say a very big thank you to everyone who has visited us. The constructive laughter filled feedback has helped us develop the eating and overall experience at Ribs & Co, you know who you are and a big pat on the back for you guys. It has certainly been an amazing and sometimes a slightly emotional journey but definitely one the team and I enjoy every day, thanks for filling our Monday to Sundays with smiles 😃
I could waffle on about the new grilled cheese or steak sandwiches we offer on Saturday lunch or the new cocktails, gluten free and veggie/vegan options on our menu but I think we will save that for another time, have a cracking weekend one and all and we hope to see you soon, The Ribs & Co Team.

Ok, a little news flash from all of us here at Rib HQ.
We are opening for Sunday lunch, as of next weekend 12th February from 12 to 3pm.
The Sunday Lunch Club menu will be simply, half or whole roast chickens, racks of ribs, piles of fresh fries, coleslaw and corn on the cob. Toddlers will eat for free, £6 for kids and everyone else £12.50 each.

Wow amazing. Arrived and was looked after by Rachael. She explained everything and assisted with lots of questions around intolerances [not me]. The owner/chef Colin even offered with 24 hours notice he could alter recipes to accommodate certain intolerances. Fantastic service. Ordered half a portion of nachos with chilli, gorgeous and huge I did my best. The chicken wings were also ordered and they were divine. Then the main course. Crab and Cod burger and a half rack of ribs. Again gorgeous. Can not fault the staff very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Excellent food and a good price. Atmosphere and music great. The only downside to this restaurant is that it’s not on the Wirral!!!. Lucky Hailsham. Good luck to you all. I will be back. X

Wonderful staff, great customer service and excellent food too. If you are hungry the Nachos are a substantial starter but need to share! It's a good location especially if you are visiting the pavilion cinema and want to eat before or after a film.

We went to Ribs & Co yesterday after we saw a few good reviews, and had heard good things about it, and we certainly weren't disappointed. The staff were great fun, full of good humour, very welcoming and natural. They weren't 'In your face' either. My step sons can be a little fussy about their food and the manager basically catered for their every request, nothing was any trouble.

When the food did arrive it was really well presented and looked delicious. And it was. I had the 'Build your own' burger and it was fantastic. It tasted amazing and accompanied by their homemade barb b que sauce really gave it a zing. The boys all cleared their plates which is a rarity and wanted to visit again today.

The food was a great standard and didn't break the bank.

So,overall, our experience there was excellent. And we will definitely be going back, and I would recommend this place to anyone.

We Love it here ... personally I go for a Full Rack and the House Glaze � and just adore the Waffles. Whats your favourite?

They say you can tell how popular a restaurant is by how busy it is.



The first time I decided to try Ribs & Co they were fully booked all night. Good for them, but I had to go elsewhere. It was a week later before I had the pleasure myself and I’m happy to say it was so worth the wait.



There’s nothing worse than being confused with too much choice: the menu is clear and concise - quite basically burgers, tortillas and ribs. The only dilemma is that each of these has at least three variants with your choice of sauce - bourbon, hot & spicy or house glaze. If you ask nicely you can get more than one glaze!



Nostalgia meets modern art in this restaurant’s hip and trendy surroundings as industrial retro lighting, very simple wall art and old school desks make this a very happening place to be. The friendly staff make the whole dining experience very pleasant and the proprietor, Colin, is always up for a conversation when he’s not busy in the kitchen.



I think I’ve tried most of the menu and so far have not been disappointed - personal favourites of mine are the Crab & Cod Burger and Build Your Own Burger, the Nachos with Chilli Beef as a starter can also be served as a main.



The children’s menu includes all the popular main menu dishes, just more compact - a half a half (yes, that’s a quarter) Rack of Ribs, a Burger or Chicken Strips with Fries and Coleslaw and a scoop of ice cream included all for the bargain price of £5.



Fantastic starters and heavenly desserts ensures you don’t go home hungry, however, if you can’t manage three courses you have to make the decision which you must go without - breaks my heart every time, especially when you have to weigh up what’s on offer; do you sub the Mozarella Sticks starter for Chocolate Brownie Sundae or maybe the Chicken Wings for the Oreo & Salted Caramel Cheesecake or decide on Nachos with Cheese Guacamole against Belgian Waffles & Vanilla Ice Cream, perhaps? The only way you can ensure you can eat it all is to make repeated visits.



All dietary requirements are catered for as all food is fresh and locally sourced produce, creating almost everything on the menu in their own kitchen and cooked to order.



They offer a good selection of vegetarian and vegan choices such as the Mozzarella sticks, vegan/dairy free nachos, Veggie burger, vegan slaw. Allergens and intolerances are also recognised and encouraged to talk through the menu, its ingredients and any alternatives.



Their ethos is that they “like to smile a lot and listen to music, which we like to think adds that something extra into everything we do for you” couldn’t be more true. A very trendy place to be eating wonderfully fresh, locally sourced food served by cheerful and helpful staff in trendy surroundings - we are so very lucky that this is all within our home town.



A true gem of Hailsham, perfection every time. Booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

The best ribs I have eaten in the UK. Lovely atmosphere and charming helpful staff. I recommend highly - and their guacamole and nacho starter- second to none!

Second visit and it gets better everytime. Had the most amazing meal and service the food is to die for will definitely be recommending.

Excellent evening. Food was great but not expensive. Staff all very good as well and the table games make it a bit of fun. Recommend going there.

Came here for a birthday meal, had been a couple of times already. The staff and food did not disappoint, standards were still top notch and the hospitality was excellent - even put a candle on the burger which was hilarious!



Definitely the best place to eat in Hailsham. The local food and astonishing flavours have made this my favourite place to eat, and it doesn’t break the bank.

Came for a meal with my family for my sisters birthday the food was amazing and staff were all very friendly had a good selection of cocktails too and were great with the kids highly recommend going here

Brilliant service went here for a birthday mean with my family for my sisters 21st the staff were very proffessional attentive and friendly the food was amazing and they were very good with the children and even put a candle in my sisters burger made her meal a very special one highly recommended
