It's been a hard winter for bearings. We stock a huge range of loose and cartridge bearing for a range of applications.

This Orange Five needed the frame repairing after the pivot bearings had seized and caused some significant damage. This required some frame modifications and custom machined parts. Better than new when it left the workshop.

Ride and Repair will not be taking any more servicing or repair work until Monday 2nd July. Apologies for any inconvenience.

We love doing custom builds, especially lovely titanium custom builds. This Lynskey Pro GR and Kinesis GFti ticked both of those boxes. Get in touch if you are thinking about having your dream bike built up.

Great to have the opportunity to be one of the main sponsors again for the Macclesfield Wheelers Supacross. A full day of cyclo-cross racing and a very well organised event. Thanks to everyone who made it happen.

We were very happy to host the Macclesfield Wheelers Awards evening over the weekend. The workshop was transformed into a great party venue. All back to normal now though.

Spent the day on the road yesterday providing mechanical support for the Lloyds Banking Group Fourtitude Challenge during their 100 mile cycle challenge. It was a tough and hilly route and I was very impressed with the strength, determination and good humour on show from all the riders. The team has raised nearly £250,000 for Mental Health UK. Well done and good luck with the half marathon today.

We had a fun day yesterday supporting Macclesfield's Cycle Saturday event with a mobile workshop set up in the town square. Macclesfield Wheelers also hosted three rides during the day. It was great to chat with so many people and fix several bikes too.

I'm up in Sunderland for a couple of days this week preparing and servicing about 35 bikes for a Poland to Czech Republic charity ride next week. Back in the workshop on Wednesday and then I'll be flying out to Wroclaw to join the riders on Saturday.

Problem with rear mech and Paul sorted it staight away. Excellent friendly and immediate service.

Just got my bike back from Paul. Sorted out my rear mech and internal cabling issues. Now rides like a dream. Great work! Highly recommend this speedy and excellent service.

Just got my Giant Trance mountain bike back, Paul is a GENIUS the bike repair and service was out of this world. I cannot recommend ride + repair highly enough.

The job on the suspension done by Rick was ace too. Massive like.

I took my winter training bike to Paul for a service after 2 years of use and not a lot of attention - he did a fantastic job, now rides like a new bike. I can highly recommend Ride and Repair and will definitely be returning in the future.

I took my precious but very tired Giant mountain bike to Paul and left with a new bike.



He stripped and rebuilt everything, new brakes and disks, new chain and cassette. What didn't need replacing was cleaned to shiny new.



This isn't someone scraping a living from a cycle shop. This is a man with a mad passion for bikes, doing what he loves.



I recommend Paul and Ride and Repair completely. It was well worth the drive from the midlands to Macc, if you're passionate about your bike too.

I had really good customer service from Paul at Ride & Repair. My bike was collected and returned to my workplace & all work done to a high & exacting standard! Excellent work, will use again!

I could not be more happy with the work carried out on my bike. Rear mech hanger, chain and gear cable all replaced and the bike is ready to roll again. i will definitely be telling my cycling friends to bring their bikes here. Good work Paul.......

From the outset it was clear to see that Paul had an 'absolute' knowledge, and passion for what he was doing.

The bike I took to Ride & Repair was a road bike built in 1943 by Berry & Bentley which I was using in L'eroica Brittania that weekend. A fault had developed which meant I would not have been able to use the bike.

Paul, whom I had just met for the first time, put things aside and got to work immediately assessing the problem. Once diagnosed he told me I would be able to collect the bike the following day. I understand a part was ordered which was delivered the next day then had to be machined to fit.

After Paul gave the bike a final 'set-up' everything is ready to go.

Pauls knowledge, skill and passion has allowed me take part in the event this weekend.
