Rifles Security Solutions in partnership with Live in Guardians and the charity we support at Just Rifles are seeking former service...men (priority given to Riflemen) to become part of the RSS' properties security team. The job involves one or two individual's moving into an empty building for a period of time arranged to suit you and effectively living there paid and rent free until the place is fully occupied by Live in Guardians or handed to developers. It could be weeks or it could be months. Effectively giving you somewhere to stay and getting paid for the pleasure with you acting as the security/caretaker. when your task is complete at a location we will simply move you onto another site or you have the option to be accommodated while waiting for the next task, at one of the other sites. We are getting a lot of ex service people asking for more details about the live in guarding roles that we are advertising for on the Rifles Security Solutions and Just Rifles pages. Basically this is a live in guard roll, where we take over an empty building on behalf of the client and place one or two guards/caretakers in there. You are provided with all the vital kit, TV (on a repayment scheme where its yours after three weeks), Microwave, kettle and bed, and then the lads.../ladies bring their own entertainment Laptops, playstation etc. You then look after the place and effectively make it your own. the main reason is to deter squatters. we have never had a problem once we have possession. The places are in and around London. We have a nice one coming up in Sevenoaks at the start of June that I am keen to place a former serviceman in along with one other guard. the pay is £350-400 PW dependant on the state of the building, and with that you obviously get the free accommodation in London. Time scale is all dependant on you, though we do ask you consider at least two week blocks. A lot of the lads just stay on as they want the money. We can also accommodate you in London for free if you are complete on one task and waiting for the next one to start up. We are also looking at a training company that will provide the training for you to gain an SIA licence but thats in the near future. The licence is not needed for the live in guard role. We have an opening for one possibly two operators for a high profile RST in London. Roughly 17 days a month. Fairly staggered rota. Only expereinced badged people considered due to the nature of the client. Must be London based or within reasonable commuting range. Rates will be discussed on interview.
