You know us I'm Julie a regular for the fantastic food. We go often too much food to eat doggy bag needed. Menu is vast. Now with the WiFi whose going to drink and eat. Very friendly regulars and staff.

Went in with friends for a birthday meal, great value, fab food will definitely go back again and happy to recommend.

We went for my brothers birthday food was verry good and lots off it � staff are all lovely make you feel welcome

Very friendly atmosphere ...food was delicious freshly cooked and tasted very nice (fish plater & the meat one ) will be back for sure

Roy & myself only called in today to look at the menu. We are having people for Sunday & thinking of somewhere nice we can take them to eat. Going into the Rising Sun, the friendly atmosphere from Joan the landlady & regulars coming home at the reviews we are glad we have booked. Although Roy remembers this pub from years ago being as an aeroplane spotter in the 50's.

It's a proper local with wider appeal what's not to like

It is a fantastic place to socialise and have a laugh about the banter .... I been there since 1995 .... All the real people there ���

I was plane spotting near here and found that this place was the perfect refreshment spot for lunch, good friendly service too and i enjoyed the food too.

Grew up in stanwell nice pub to go back to when I visit nice food and happy memories

Great pub,locals are friendly and food great and great pint of Guinness and the old fashion things live music and other attractions

Great food, great booze, great people, couldn't ask for anymore from a pub. By far the best pub around Heathrow

Great atmosphere when you walk in the food is great and they don't charge enough for it it's a nice family pub 5 stars is not enough

Fantastic venue and lovely people. Will definitely go back especially the bike meets on Thursday evenings

Checked out the new chef for late lunch and have to say what fantastic we had.

Presentation was great.

Taste was excellent

Value for money.

We will certainly return for Sunday lunch.

Best Sunday Roast for miles and at a great price too.

Well run with good quality beers and largers. Shame it's not closer to home. Not tried the food yet, but I hear that its always good. Great service with a friendly warm welcome.

The size of the food portions are very good. The pub hasnt changed much since I first frequented it when I was much younger. If you want a decent roast dinner at a reasonable price then this is the place to come under a tenner for a dinner and homemade pudding.
