Went for lunch today. Only good things to say. All 5 in our party had lovely meals . The staff were friendly and attentive. I have to mention the chocolate cake because it was probably the best I've ever had.

Was busy and lively which is just what you want from Italian dining. We had great service and good quality food served at an appropriate pace. Reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit.

Visited today for lunch, great value, great food and really great staff. They realised that we were out for a double birthday and brought out some desserts with candles, and sang happy birthday... lovely surprise! We will be back soon ☺

This was our 1st visit to Ristorante Sergio & we were not disappointed. Thank you so much for making my sons 7th Birthday so special (even though he didn't look like he was enjoying it...) he hasn't stopped telling everyone. I cannot recommend the staff, food & ambiance enough!

This place is amazing can not believe I've been in Chester 26 years and never been. I have found my Happy place. Just wish I could reverse my bypass for an hour x x Had fish soup it was orgasmic. My hubby finished it off and said he wanted to snog the chef.!! I deal with michelin star restaurants every day in my job this is up there with the best x x

This is by far the best place for food in Chester! The staff are amazing! There so kind and very professional. The food is excellent! I've been there many times and the food just keeps on getting better! It's impossible not to come back. If you have never been or you are new to the city you should definitely try here it's fantastic! 10/10

The best Italian restaurant I have ever been! The food was absolutely brilliant and I really enjoyed it. And the staff were very friendly too.



It was noisy there in the restaurant but it didn't bother me at all not one bit and I got nothing to complain about it really, I find the atmosphere has an authentic feel to it.

Had a lovely meal for our Wedding Anniversary :) Food was delicious and the staff were lovely Table was ready when we arrived, and not only were we thanked upon leaving, but I was thanked by name. Small attention to detail but it means a lot. Can't wait to go back again. How I have only recently discovered this Chester gem is beyond me.

This was my first visit after hearing really good reviews about the restaurant and food. The staff were very friendly, but I found the restaurant extremely noisy, no back ground music either. At times I struggled to hear the people that was sat opposite me or the waiters.

Food wise the starter - bruschetta was average with the bread quite tough around the edges. The lasagne was very tasty but the portion was the smallest piece of lasagne I've ever seen! I was still starving after eating it. For dessert I ordered the chocolate cake which was very tasty.

Overall I found the food and atmosphere average compared to other Italian restaurants in the city, and after hearing so many good reviews about Sergios, was left feeling a little dissappointed.

Manager did not have any customer service skills, I can’t comment on the food as I didn’t get the chance to try it, I actually felt sorry for the staff members who actually apologised in behalf of the manager.
