Sunday 22nd July 1005-1105 STRONG will be Circuits with Derek. 1115-12:09 Zumba will be starting later this week at 1130-1215 and will be taught by Esra.

Went to watch Peter Pan on ice was brilliant. Very well managed first timeand won't be the last . Well done everyone involved 😀👍

We went as a family ice skating at the weekend and my husband fell on the ice, landing in his shoulder. Staff were fab, helping him off the ice and dealing with him. Thanks all, his shoulder was dislocated and the directions to the hospital were spot on, thanks again

Took my children ice skating for the first time, they are 6 & 4 so we went on the Wednesday morning 10-11 session. It was well set out, staff were helpful & friendly & the prices were reasonable. We will be back.

My son done mini jets and loved it , needs to be on more than just the holidays .

Me and my daughter yasmin had a lovely time. Taking my son liam with us tomorrow night after work will be fun.��

Love riverside , easy to park and easy to book classes, Caroline is brilliant, the best by far , such a friendly gym

Love it here. I've been a member for 8 months. Shredded 1 stone and built muscle. Whoop whoop! I've achieved this attending classes . Body pump/core/circuits. The instructors are amazing . Thanks to them I have my confidence back. It really is value for money. A great environment

Just had first shbam class with Charlene at 6pm this evening and she was really good, made it really enjoyable and really welcoming.

I was very happy with my meeting with ED, for my NHS Health check. and a plan is in place for my regular Exercise Routine to start.

I spend a lot of time at the centre. My children have their swimming lessons, I use the gym, do regular classes (my favourites are Body Attack and Body Combat) use the crèche facilities and often take the children to kool kids to let off some steam. The reception staff are always friendly, the swimming teachers are great, the crèche staff are fantastic, and the soft play area is so reasonable. In fact it's half the price of others in the area and you can take your own food/drinks in. I certainly get my moneys worth our of my membership which is why I have been a member for 7 years. ☺



Also to add, my 6 year old went to City Camps for the first time in the Easter Holidays and absolutely loved it. Will definitely be booking for her to go again in the summer. Great value for money.

I love Forever Fit on a Friday morning, so pleased it's up and running again. Something for the more mature person, and great fun

I attended the This Girl Can festival. It was a fantastic day, well run , lots of different taster sessions to try. Had a great time.

Had a fantastic time, staff was amazing even helped my little boy skate around the ring. Thank you �

First time here ice skating, had a really great time , great ice rink and a great price for hours of fun

Deep water workout with Sharon is great.

It's such fun and the time goes so quickly.

Any chance of a longer class and also MORE classes with her as it's always fully booked.

As a semi regular user of the gym and pool facility's it is lovely to be greeted with smiling happy reception staff who over the years have got to know my name and always say hello. There are the odd grumpy receptionist but most are so friendly and chatty, it's lovely

Went ice skating with my daughter and inlaws today my little girl never been so it was really exciting time for her we got are tickets from downstairs and the lady was so rude I was so shocked by this I thought oh dear lord why did we come here if this is how your going to be treated but I can honestly say the moment we walked through the ice skating bit everything was perfect and we enjoy every minute of it the staff on the ice where great.

Today was our 3rd visit and a special occasion for our older daughters birthday and few of her friends, however sadly our younger daughter had a really bad fall on her head/face and I have to say the stuff was absolutely amazing, especially the first aider(sorry don’t know the name),she suffered from a really bad shock and we were advised to take her to the hospital after she was checked over. So we would like to say a massive thank you for all your help, the stuff was absolutely brilliant!!!

The reception staff are really helpful and friendly. Early morning 6:30am classes are great. It needs a boxercise option one morning. Spin classes are good but sometimes hard to follow. Having use of the pool is great. My only bugbear is that the changing facilities need full size lockers. Going to gym with all the stuff to get changed for work is a faff.

My boys loved it so did I we had a great day out and will be coming back very soon

Love the gym and aqua especially how informative and supportive Liz is but when can we have some boxercise on a weekend or evening, even bought my gloves ready?

Love the classes so much . Shout out to Gemma , Caroline , Sarah and James . Such motivating instructors that are willing to put in the time to listen and make you push to your full potential . Please can we have some more KONGA classes . Looking forward to the refurb being complete as centre definitely needs some work .

I absolutely love going down to my local gym. All the pump, spin, Rpm and core instructors are just fab, upbeat, welcoming and friendly. I love meeting my friends and sisters down there and keeping fit together. My pump instructors have even got to know my name. The people in the classes too all say hello to each other. I love taking my little girl to the soft play and swimming pool. She gets so excited every time! I like the shower facilities. It's such a shame that the only reason my rating hasn't got 5 stars is because of the greeting you get from the reception staff. I always smile and say hello to them and will continue to do so. I thought smiling at someone was contagious, clearly not. Come on girls! :-)

Always been happy taking my Grandchildren Ice Skating.

Went for the 8pm-10pm disco ice skating session tonight (30/12/2017) and was served by a rude lady at the counter... anyway me, my husband and friend continued to enjoy ourselves on the ice... all went well until the lady on the ice who was a member or riverside with her reflective jacket decided to skate straight in front of me making me fall quickly on my back and head which ended our night... never had such a bad experience, it’s sad to write this review.

Nice rink parking expensive and no refreshments so take your own to any ice matches!

Tried to go and watch the ice hockey. Told by a rude number of staff smugly that 'We take cash only'. It's 2017 not 1945!

Really disappointed with this gym, having joined in February I have had constant problems and fines as I was not given all the information when joining. I have complained and nothing is done about it. Customer service is really bad. I have now cancelled and will be going elsewhere, which is a shame because the gym classes were good. Will not be recommending this gym in future!

Never been to a gym class before until I joined at Riverside. Must say that overall; I've had no problems with the classes, I've enjoyed all the ones I've tried - spinning, zumba, body attack, cx works, sh'bam. But the customer service at the front desk is beyond belief!

We signed up on a very quiet Sunday afternoon and still weren't given all the information we needed. We ended up with fines in the first week up to £20 because we weren't told we could cancel our classes online, (very backwards way anyway) we were told to email only which were not seen in time hence the fines.

I sprained my knee during a class and had to go to A&E and they said they'd call the next day to check on me but they didn't because they don't care about their customers. The instructor of the class and other instructors however were all lovely and kept asking me when she saw me.



Upon entering the centre, you're greeted by moody receptionists who aren't very friendly or helpful. One time, I was waiting to be served but the lady just stared at her computer trying to look busy. I stepped forward but she indicated to wait with her index finger without saying anything.

I've now unfortunately cancelled my membership due to the shocking service and for that reason alone.

Incredibly rude and inflexible reception staff. Swimming pool is old and tired and unclean. The cafe is rarely stocked with food and when they serve kids food it's dangerously hot. Kids play area is also filthy. The parkor sessions they do are good however, but I believe this is an outside organisation that hires their space.

I have just been to a yoga class and left after 20 mins as I couldn't understand the instructor or hear her over the music. So tried to sneek out without disturbing the rest of the class as it clearly wasn't for me. However the tutor (yanna I think her name was) stopped the class to demand to know why I was leaving and was very rude demanding to the rest of the class that they act as witness about some health form that aparrently she was meant to get me to fill out at the start of the class.(not sure why that mattered as I was leaving and no such form had been mentioned previously?).



Anyway I decided to complain to reception about this behaviour to wich a very grumpy receptionists who felt the need to tell me I was wrong got the manager for me.



The saga continues the manager informed me that they had never had any complaints about the instructor before (I don't care I'm complaing now.) and told me to take my money back and not to bother booking any more classes there! I can't believe the levels or rudeness I received from every single member of staff I spoke to all over the fact that I decided a class just wasn't for me!

Hello there I'm not really satisfied with the staff at Riverside ice and leisure as I've booked appointment the gym instructor and when I ask them I got that I've got appointment sorry can't help you this week 15 as I got someone coming in that's not really helpful is it as a few times I have asked them I said oh sorry got someone coming in and sometimes instructors has no time for you as it it says I'm busy I've got someone in that doesn't Knowing Me

Filthy changing rooms, needs a pro deep clean! Restricted pool and very rude reception staff who totally dismissed my complaint!!

I sprained my knee during a class and had to go to A&E and they said they'd call the next day to check on me but they didn't because they don't care about their customers. The instructor of the class and other instructors however were all lovely and kept asking me when she saw me.



Upon entering the centre, you're greeted by moody receptionists who aren't very friendly or helpful. One time, I was waiting to be served but the lady just stared at her computer trying to look busy. I stepped forward but she indicated to wait with her index finger without saying anything.

I've now unfortunately cancelled my membership due to the shocking service and for that reason alone.

Incredibly rude and inflexible reception staff. Swimming pool is old and tired and unclean. The cafe is rarely stocked with food and when they serve kids food it's dangerously hot. Kids play area is also filthy. The parkor sessions they do are good however, but I believe this is an outside organisation that hires their space.

I have just been to a yoga class and left after 20 mins as I couldn't understand the instructor or hear her over the music. So tried to sneek out without disturbing the rest of the class as it clearly wasn't for me. However the tutor (yanna I think her name was) stopped the class to demand to know why I was leaving and was very rude demanding to the rest of the class that they act as witness about some health form that aparrently she was meant to get me to fill out at the start of the class.(not sure why that mattered as I was leaving and no such form had been mentioned previously?).



Anyway I decided to complain to reception about this behaviour to wich a very grumpy receptionists who felt the need to tell me I was wrong got the manager for me.



The saga continues the manager informed me that they had never had any complaints about the instructor before (I don't care I'm complaing now.) and told me to take my money back and not to bother booking any more classes there! I can't believe the levels or rudeness I received from every single member of staff I spoke to all over the fact that I decided a class just wasn't for me!

Hello there I'm not really satisfied with the staff at Riverside ice and leisure as I've booked appointment the gym instructor and when I ask them I got that I've got appointment sorry can't help you this week 15 as I got someone coming in that's not really helpful is it as a few times I have asked them I said oh sorry got someone coming in and sometimes instructors has no time for you as it it says I'm busy I've got someone in that doesn't Knowing Me

Filthy changing rooms, needs a pro deep clean! Restricted pool and very rude reception staff who totally dismissed my complaint!!

We went as a family ice skating at the weekend and my husband fell on the ice, landing in his shoulder. Staff were fab, helping him off the ice and dealing with him. Thanks all, his shoulder was dislocated and the directions to the hospital were spot on, thanks again

Took my children ice skating for the first time, they are 6 & 4 so we went on the Wednesday morning 10-11 session. It was well set out, staff were helpful & friendly & the prices were reasonable. We will be back.

My son done mini jets and loved it , needs to be on more than just the holidays .

Me and my daughter yasmin had a lovely time. Taking my son liam with us tomorrow night after work will be fun.��

Love it here. I've been a member for 8 months. Shredded 1 stone and built muscle. Whoop whoop! I've achieved this attending classes . Body pump/core/circuits. The instructors are amazing . Thanks to them I have my confidence back. It really is value for money. A great environment

I was very happy with my meeting with ED, for my NHS Health check. and a plan is in place for my regular Exercise Routine to start.

I spend a lot of time at the centre. My children have their swimming lessons, I use the gym, do regular classes (my favourites are Body Attack and Body Combat) use the crèche facilities and often take the children to kool kids to let off some steam. The reception staff are always friendly, the swimming teachers are great, the crèche staff are fantastic, and the soft play area is so reasonable. In fact it's half the price of others in the area and you can take your own food/drinks in. I certainly get my moneys worth our of my membership which is why I have been a member for 7 years. ☺



Also to add, my 6 year old went to City Camps for the first time in the Easter Holidays and absolutely loved it. Will definitely be booking for her to go again in the summer. Great value for money.

I love Forever Fit on a Friday morning, so pleased it's up and running again. Something for the more mature person, and great fun

I attended the This Girl Can festival. It was a fantastic day, well run , lots of different taster sessions to try. Had a great time.

Had a fantastic time, staff was amazing even helped my little boy skate around the ring. Thank you �

As a semi regular user of the gym and pool facility's it is lovely to be greeted with smiling happy reception staff who over the years have got to know my name and always say hello. There are the odd grumpy receptionist but most are so friendly and chatty, it's lovely

Went ice skating with my daughter and inlaws today my little girl never been so it was really exciting time for her we got are tickets from downstairs and the lady was so rude I was so shocked by this I thought oh dear lord why did we come here if this is how your going to be treated but I can honestly say the moment we walked through the ice skating bit everything was perfect and we enjoy every minute of it the staff on the ice where great.

Today was our 3rd visit and a special occasion for our older daughters birthday and few of her friends, however sadly our younger daughter had a really bad fall on her head/face and I have to say the stuff was absolutely amazing, especially the first aider(sorry don’t know the name),she suffered from a really bad shock and we were advised to take her to the hospital after she was checked over. So we would like to say a massive thank you for all your help, the stuff was absolutely brilliant!!!

The reception staff are really helpful and friendly. Early morning 6:30am classes are great. It needs a boxercise option one morning. Spin classes are good but sometimes hard to follow. Having use of the pool is great. My only bugbear is that the changing facilities need full size lockers. Going to gym with all the stuff to get changed for work is a faff.

My boys loved it so did I we had a great day out and will be coming back very soon

Love the gym and aqua especially how informative and supportive Liz is but when can we have some boxercise on a weekend or evening, even bought my gloves ready?

Love the classes so much . Shout out to Gemma , Caroline , Sarah and James . Such motivating instructors that are willing to put in the time to listen and make you push to your full potential . Please can we have some more KONGA classes . Looking forward to the refurb being complete as centre definitely needs some work .

I absolutely love going down to my local gym. All the pump, spin, Rpm and core instructors are just fab, upbeat, welcoming and friendly. I love meeting my friends and sisters down there and keeping fit together. My pump instructors have even got to know my name. The people in the classes too all say hello to each other. I love taking my little girl to the soft play and swimming pool. She gets so excited every time! I like the shower facilities. It's such a shame that the only reason my rating hasn't got 5 stars is because of the greeting you get from the reception staff. I always smile and say hello to them and will continue to do so. I thought smiling at someone was contagious, clearly not. Come on girls! :-)

Always been happy taking my Grandchildren Ice Skating.

Went for the 8pm-10pm disco ice skating session tonight (30/12/2017) and was served by a rude lady at the counter... anyway me, my husband and friend continued to enjoy ourselves on the ice... all went well until the lady on the ice who was a member or riverside with her reflective jacket decided to skate straight in front of me making me fall quickly on my back and head which ended our night... never had such a bad experience, it’s sad to write this review.

Nice rink parking expensive and no refreshments so take your own to any ice matches!

Tried to go and watch the ice hockey. Told by a rude number of staff smugly that 'We take cash only'. It's 2017 not 1945!

Really disappointed with this gym, having joined in February I have had constant problems and fines as I was not given all the information when joining. I have complained and nothing is done about it. Customer service is really bad. I have now cancelled and will be going elsewhere, which is a shame because the gym classes were good. Will not be recommending this gym in future!
