A Mercedes Atego 1323 fitted with bulldog interstater under lift with the capacity to lift 4 Ton. Recovery winch is rated at 6.2 Tons which is the perfect vehicle for recovery of 7.5 Ton trucks.
A Mercedes Atego 1318 with a 19 foot slide and tilt bed (with a 5 Ton capacity) and a rear spec frame rated at 2 Ton enabling us to transport 2 light commercial vehicles at once if required. In addition the recovery vehicle is fitted with a hydraulic 4 Ton winch.

Another busy day for R&M recovery vehicles yesterday.
We were called out to Basingstoke train station where a Luton van with a height of 10ft 6" tried to go through a 8ft 6" bridge.
... Both Ian with the recovery vehicle and Billy in his service van attended the scene.
As the vehicle was actually wedged under the bridge, the tyres had to be deflated and body cut/secured to release.
With the load secured, Ian then recovered the vehicle all the way to Litchfield near Birmingham (a long day) then returned home.

Just another day at R&M
Servicevan at R&M Commercials called out to a draw bar trailer.
The driver had jackknifed on an impossible manoeuvre causing the draw bar to snap off.
... Neil on scene quickly assessed the situation as trailer on a bend at the roadside. Neil cleaned the broken welds and welded the draw bar back together and the driver was soon on his way.
Cannot imagine a main dealer or many other breakdown companies have the capability or skills to carry out repairs like this.

Service Van News: New additions to the fleet.
R&M Commercial Ltd have just added a further 2 new 3.5t commercial vehicle service vans to our fleet in an on-going and continual modernisation of the service van fleet.
... The latest additions are 2 medium wheel base Volkswagen Crafter’s which are now our 5th generation of service van design.
With the input and collective collaboration of all our highly skilled service personnel in conjunction with Van Racking Solutions, we believe our new service vans are the most capable and advanced commercial vehicle service vans in the country.
2018 VW Crafter: Specification
Equipment includes a 7.5KVA generator, MIG welder, Oxyacetylene, Doctor Air-Brake trailer test unit, specialist tooling and a large selection of parts. An on-board compressor (with 15CFM) plus remote tank connected to side and rear door aperture and to work bench with additional 25 metre extension air hose reel.
The new service vans are also equipped with a Eberspacher auxiliary heater to provide heating to the cabin and rear workspace of the van. The Van is equipped with LED work lights, interior lights and beacon strobes which are all switchable from the cabin and rear of the van.
We have invested heavily on state of the art diagnostic equipment including WABCO, Haldex, Knorr Bremse, Wurth and Delphi to provide the highest quality of service to our customers at the roadside.
