Adrian Cooper works at London Bridge and has been a member of the RMT Credit Union for some time now. I bumped into Adrian, at London Bridge Station, the other day and he told me why he thinks the RMT Credit Union is such a great opportunity to save and borrow in an ethical way, but also makes sense financially.
"I have found the credit union the best way for me to save money"... "Having a big family I've found using the Christmas club is the best thing I have used for years" "Putting away a small amount of 40 each pay day (every 4 weeks) Gives you good lump sum in November of around £500"! "I've always found the credit union too be very flexible, friendly and helpful" "I only have to put in £5 every 4 weeks in my main savings, but sometimes, I may need the odd £20 to save me going into the overdraft" "It’s a really, quick service! You just fill out a form and scan it over to the credit union office at Unity House and you get a prompt response from the team! The money is there; in your account with in 5 days." HELP! Your Credit Union Needs You! We are looking for 5 or 6 people to tell us their good news story from using the RMT Credit Union. It can be anything that matters to you... Such as a really special holiday Helping to consolidate your debt and lift you out of the debt trap... A special gift to someone or yourself Urgent need, because of a family crisis Got you through a tricky financial crunch point. It's your story. We would like to use these stories for our publicity, to encourage others to join and become part of our special organisation. There is no payment for your story i'm afraid. Other than knowing you will be helping to build the Credit Union, so we can support more and more people at the point of need.

The website is having a few technical issues I have heard so some members have had troubles logging into the website. If you are using a iPhone or tablet then there seems to be a more wider issue on these. If you use a laptop/computer then there seems to be less issues. Just wanted to let you know. Cheers.

If this means you are going to go overdrawn with your bank and accrue bank charges then can you please contact your bank and request a recall of your money and that will stop any charges to your account (people who were paid on Wednesday will not be effected)

I am going to be jumping out of a small airplane on Friday 15th February 2019 (sky diving) with my son Anthony, my brother Alan and his son Craig for the British heart foundation in the memory of my late partner Bob Crow I am absolutely petrified to do this and have been told to just jump out the plane and face my fears… I don’t know if that’s a good way to look at this or not ….
