We stopped in today for a much needed brunch on our way back from a paddle boarding session at Bray Lake. I loved the eggs benedict with spinach and earl grey tea, and my fiancé enjoyed the bacon and egg bap. Lovely atmosphere as was very busy so obviously very popular! Our food was brought out quickly and cooked to perfection. We'll be making it our regular stop on our return from the lake. :-)

We had our first visit on Sunday for breakfast, I had a small full English and my daughter had crumpets. Really delicious ingredients, lovely coffee and I treated my daughter to a great milkshake. Really impressed with the children's play area, I could actually enjoy my food while she pottered!!!!! We'll be back!

User

We had a little party lunch here yesterday for my daughter's 7th birthday. Robyn was fantastic. The food came out really promptly, the children were made to feel welcome, everything looked lovely, the food was good, it was reasonably priced - what more could you want? Thank you for helping to make her day special

Today we celebrated a very special occasion at Robyns Nest! We were looking for somewhere for afternoon tea for 30 that was child friendly and would be filling and tasty, we were recommended Robyns Nest, which I had never come across before. After testing it out one Saturday, we decided this was the place. It more than exceeded our expectations. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and all of the extra things we asked for were met with 'of course we can do that'. Robyn was a pleasure to deal with, the food was amazing and the set up was perfect. We were a group of 24 adults and 9 children and had the top half of the cafe. We were so impressed with the children's afternoon tea Robyn made specially, our little girl loved the fruit kebabs and was so happy just to be able to play with her friends and everything was so relaxed. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it and were so complimentary of everything. Scones, cakes and sandwiches were delicious as was the coffee and hot chocolate. Staff were so accommodating. I really can't recommend it enough. Robyn and her team should be proud of what they have and we will be back lots more as will some of our guests. Thank you again, it really couldn't have been more perfect.

The ham & cheese omelette was exceptional, the large Latte too, however the lettuce, four slices of cucumber and three mini tomatoes wasn't really £2.50 of side salad, it was more a garnish. However, lovely ambience made up for lack of salad, so still with full marks . A lovely surprise .

My god where do I bloody start.

These guys are just phenomenal.

From nailing my caramel lattes to absolute perfection morning in morning out to spreading positivity around the cafe by the staff's contagious smiles, these guys set the benchmark for top quality quaint cozy cafes.

Best in Berkshire.

My friend and I visited the cafe today, after being recommend to me by other parents. We were a little outnumbered with 4 children to 2 adults but decided to give it a try. My friend is a new mum of twins girls, only 4 weeks old, and I have a 5 month old little girl and a little boy who is nearly two. The odds were not in our favour.

We chose the cafe because I liked the sound of being able to have a coffee and some cake with a play area that wasn’t a soft play, as I usually end up having to get in and play and little cake is ever eaten.

As soon as we arrived, it was time for the twins to be fed. So with a baby in one arm and a toodler in the other, I went and ordered our coffees and some cake. The ladies at the till were very patient with my toddler deciding....and then un-deciding...what he wanted and service was with a smile. With my hands full of children, the lady then asked where I was seated and said she would bring my order over without me even having to ask. I don’t know if this is the norm, but it was extremely helpful!

We sat in the top seating area near the toys which my son loved to play with...until he found the ramp and realized he could make his own way down to the food area where you (unfortunately for me) sell a large selection of all his favourite food!

As someone who works with adults with learning disabilities, I love the fact you have ramp access and will also be recommending your cafe to the people at work.

Unfortunately, this is also where my only criticism lies. Is there anyway a secure gate could be added to the top of the ramp or even a baby gate to keep children safe and secure? We had such a lovely morning at the cafe and even stayed longer than we had originally planned. As any parent will tell you, a little adult company is always needed to keep you sane and I plan to meet with my friend weekly to try to get her out of the house and your cafe is the perfect opportunity to do so. We will definitely be visiting again. With two against four, the gate would be a massive help to keep my little boy safe while we try to juggle the three non-walkers. If this is a possibility it would make our visits that little less stressful.

Overall, this is a wonderful place and even the other customers were extremely friendly. My friend kept apologizing for her crying babies but everyone was supportive and understanding.

Even though it’s a little bit of a distance from where we live, I will certainly be recommending the cafe to my other parent friends and look forward to visiting again.

Lovely loose leaf tea (which was topped up without question) and yummy fresh carrot cake. Enjoyed all the more because my son was well occupied in the play area! Welcoming staff and a cosy seating area with plenty of space for prams. Will recommend to my friends!

User

Just came back from a little Baby shower the employees were lovely there and very helpful, afternoon tea was yummy and very well presented, they took the time to put little baby icing feet and baby faces on some cakes lovely place all together xx

User

I went for the second time today and my lunch was so nice, I had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries which came with little pots of mayo and BBQ sauce, every bite was delicious so il definitely pop in for lunch again soon x

User

I love the omelette, great spot for Breakfast or lunch. The coffee is really nice the service has always been friendly and the homemade cakes are worth it alone!! Robyn has done a great job of the refurb! Well worth a visit if you have not been and get back there if you have not been in a while :-)

User

I just wanted to say thank you so much to the lady that served and looked after me and my two children today. After one of those mornings with my children and the rain pouring down I headed for the first time to Robyn's Nest. The cakes were delicious, hot chocolate to die for and the kids loved the little play area. To top it off the lady even went out of her way to lend me her phone charger as my phone decided to die on me.

Thank you so much and a special thank you to the lady that served us.

We will definitely be coming back!

User

I arrived 15 mins after their kitchens were meant to be closed, but they still sorted my order without complaint. In fact, they even substituted bacon and sausage for the hash browns and mushrooms s they didn't have prepared. Glorious food, excellent service, decent prices.

User

Great service and food. I will definitely be back!

User

Fantastic coffee, lovely cakes, friendly staff and great to have a dog friendly cafe to relax in!

User

Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Invited a friend with her little one to meet my little one and I for lunch.

Great little cafe I had the club sandwich which was a very healthy serving, and a kids lunch which was of great value included was everything a child could want in a lunch box. And the play area was very well set up.

We were tempted by the Afternoon Tea, but couldn't fit another thing in so we will be returning. Thank you, I've been looking for a cafe like this for a while in the local area and have finally found it.

User

Have been going to this cafe for a very long time and have seen it change hands. I was looking forward to the new and improved. Well I have been twice now and have not been very happy both times first time I had a omelet and my plate was full of water from the filling and then today when I went, our table still had the previous customers cups on so to help I put at the edge of the table for it to be collected. And we had someone come over twice to give us drinks and food and both times the stuff was just looked at and left .

I will return and hopefully it will be 3rd time lucky and not have any issues x

User

Since the cafe was being taken over I thought I would give it a go a couple of weeks ago. Sad to say that I was really disappointed with the breakfast. When it was presented to us the food was barely warm and to top it off it cost just under £20 for 2! The only nice thing about it was the loose leaf tea.
