We are brothers, Lee & Shaun, and Rok Soba was formed following our three years of sobriety. Rok Soba, quite simply, is a brand that aims to inspire those that are on a similar path. Our decision to kick the bottle has offered huge benefits, both personally and to our family, and Rok Soba is all about offering inspiration from the experiences of ourselves and others, which we believe will encourage and empower anybody who has taken, or is contemplating taking to the sober lane.
Rok Soba has injected rock 'n' roll into sobriety, which we firmly believe is another mechanism to help people be proud to be dry. Our t-shirts with their bold, meaningful designs and punch slogans will adorn peoples backs, helping them stand tall. Our bespoke jewellery will be worn as a constant reminder of people's personal achievements and strength. And everyday items such as leather key fobs and mugs will act as empowering reminders to help and reassure those on their path of sobriety.

4 years ago today, I awoke desperate, in the depths of depression, worthless, jobless, relationships in tatters and hanging over me the certainty of a criminal record and possible custodial sentence. For so many years, alcohol had been my crutch. This so called crutch needed to go, I needed to walk free. And so 4 years later, I continue to walk free...free from the devil's juice. It's been a long road, but one that's lead to opportunity, genuine friendships and a new lease of... life. For the first few months of my sobriety I became a recluse, but then decided I needed to rekindle my passion for photography. Who'd have thought that I would go on to self publish 3 photography books, volunteer to teach English to the most incredible and inspiring young Buddhist monks in Nepal and form Rok Soba with my brother, Shaun, also in the grips of addiction until his choice to quit in January 2015. It's been a tough but incredible ride and I will be eternally thankful for everyone's support, guidance and knowledge. Rok Soba continues to flourish and our passion to change perceptions about sobriety will never cease. There are many exciting projects on the go, all aimed to inspire those on a similar path. @brokendollarsuk have supported Rok Soba from the start and since collaborating with them earlier in the year, it's incredible how much they have helped our cause. It made sense to partner up with a rock band, but these guys have gone beyond the pale.
