User

Wonderful service received from Roka. Was my first time there and throughly enjoyed the experience of the brunch menu. Certainly good value for money as you can help yourself so many times from the buffet. The sushi selection is amazing. The main is literally described on the menu. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. The only criticism is that at buffet area nothing is labelled so if you eat fish and not meat this is a risk you will take. Be prepared to satisfy your taste buds on the buffet as the main portion is not huge but extremely satisfying. Dessert was delicious too and was an amazing spread. Certainly got value for money on the £49 menu.

User

What a wonderful place to eat.

Staff are the best especially Roxanne our waitress. The food is amazing, fresh and lovingly prepared. My family and I had the best time there yesterday.

User

Went for the Sunday brunch. Plenty of variety for the starter buffet style and choice of main courses to suit everyone. Staff were nice and attentive. Would recommend.

User

We went there yesterday for our grandsons 16 birthday there was 11 of us we had the chefs table the food was amazing unlimited wine and the staff could not have been more attentive will definitely be going back.

User

Very busy when we arrived. I am glad we booked a late brunch as it started to thin out soon after we sat down - and it became much more enjoyable once the loud party next to us left! Plenty of delicious food on the buffet and really lovely sashimi brought to our table. The lobster and steak main courses were very good. The wine was good quality and there was plenty of it. The desserts were really lovely too, and it was so kind of our waiter and kitchen staff to accompany them with a happy birthday message piped in white chocolate on a leaf - we only mentioned in passing that we were there celebrating our birthdays. The service was perfectly fine - there were lots of staff on hand and they were friendly and accommodating, although clearly rushed off their feet. Highly recommended for something different, memorable and a bit of an assault on the senses!

Sunday Buffet at Roka is a firm favourite with the family (especially now the kids are old enough to appreciate the wine and Bellinis).

Book a table at 11:30 and turn up early so you can hear the chant of the kitchen staff as they prepare to work their magic. Then get to the sushi before the queue builds up.

Belinis on arrival and bottomless wine glasses keep you hydrated and the starters are varied and delicious, and the little wasabi surprises are great cleansing the pallet.

All the mains are prepared to perfection and seasoned beautifully and the dessert platter is a great way to end a wonderful dining experience.

A family favourite in elegant surroundings- thanks Roka

User

Perfect Perfect Night. Sat on the roof terrace with exquisite food and Drinks overlooking the Funk n Soul concert, dancing to James Brown and Guests in the Square. Service was fast, your food was explained in great detail and to be honest for the quality of the food I thought the prices were very reasonable. If I could give it 10* I would.... Can't say anymore

User

Our first time to this restaurant, food was amazin, service wonderful. £110 for an hour worth of eating just seemed a bit steep. We’re probably out of touch as my daughters raised their eyebrows when I mentioned this. I’m sure we’ll give it another go one of these days👍🏻

User

It was a fabulous Japanese dining experience. The service was superb and the food excellent. Probably the best lamb cutlets I have ever eaten, the the most amazing spicy Korean sauce. Just a pity I love so far away, but I will definitely be back sometime soon.

User

It an amazing experience! And the waiters and waitresses were so attentive and nice to talk to, especially if you weren’t sure what to order. Thank you so much for the birthday surprise at the end, really made my day!

User

First time at Roka can’t fault a thing. Food , service and atmosphere all top quality. It won’t be long until I’m back again !!

User

Beautiful food, fantastic service, great atmosphere, the food experience was more than expected!!

User

An excellent experience we went for the Sunday buffet and it was top quality and excellent service

User

The food was very good but the service was so slow

User

Food was excellent, all the restaurant staff were fantastic and the management - especially Alex were really helpful. Shame the front of house staff are so bad - bordering on rude or ignorant at best. Needed to remind them to be seated at our table, did not record it was a special birthday reservation and then tried to fob us off when my Wife returned to check if they had found a lost item.

User

The service starts off well but insidiously they are always trying to make you buy the next level of food and wine from a cost perpsective. And when we asked for tap water we were ignored. When asked, the waiter said they were very busy and the kitchen was taking time... I looked at him and asked if he realised what he was saying but he was only mouthing what he had been taught to say. And at the end it just failed as no one could be bothered to come and collect the money. We walked to the till. For a 13.5% service charge added in the bill over and above what the food and drink cost, service is poor.

User

Our waiter, mehdi was brilliant however the whole restaurant was too busy with people queuing for the Buffett around our table while we was eating.

When we was moved off the table, we wanted to sit in the bar. One of the ladies on reception/ front of house said no and was extremely rude. Overall the food was good and our waiter was very good but the other points let down the restaurant.

User

Food was very good, as usual. Service was below standards. We paid for 2 premium brunches but we got a Sashimi which looked like a single portion: one slice per each type of fish - the “ok you get the tuna, I get the prawn” kind of thing. That’s unfair.

Also, in the meanwhile we were having the dessert, the waiter came over with the bill and asked to pay.

This was extremely annoying and not what you expect from a restaurant of such high quality.

User

Food was amazing, extremely tasty. Service was fab to start with... then it got busy..... after that it took ages to get service which let it down for us, in a way that it was almost fake customer service JUST to get the unnecessary service charge added to your bill.
