The service is impeccable from the moment you walk in the door. The reception remembered us and said specifically, "welcome back". That was a nice touch to the start of our wonderful meal. We started with the beef dumplings (which my husband loves and ordered these twice) then onto sushi. After that we tried the new salad with the caramelized onion dressing which was very yummy. Then we ordered the beef filet, the pork belly, and the lamb chops. All of these dishes were soooo good but the lamb was the best by far and I could have kept eating them all by myself. Was not all that impressed with the drinks that were ordered but considering that the food was the highlight I was not bothered by this. We ordered desert and the staff recognized that it was my birthday and made sure to make me feel special . The management staff also came to the table to ask about our meals and to state that they enjoyed us being there. Overall I LOVE eating at Roka. Highly recommend eating here if you are in London and have the financial budget to handle the bill. It is not cheap but this is not cheap food. In the future I will try and get a reservation for the downstairs where there is a live "japanese cherry tree". Thanks Roka for another great dining experience. :-)

The food is exceptional the service is friendly and attentive... the bar service was a little slow however I couldn't fault anything else... such fantastic presentation with every dish and the desserts were out of this world...

Stopped by with few friends yesterday afternoon just for some snack. We thought we will get this look you always get in busy places when you tell them you want just drinks and snacks,but what we got was exactly opposite. Pretty blondie in reception gave us nice table on the terrace with a big smile and very friendly and attentive staff was almost fighting to serve us. Throughout the afternoon we had like 3 waiters looking after us. They all been immaculately dressed and very friendly. The only name I remember was Renato,who told us he's quite new, but his service was impacible and overall he gave us the impression he's been working there forever. Foodvise I have to mention the tuna tartare with caviar and soft shell crab. Two dishes you should never leave without tasting. The balance of runny egg, delicate but full of flavour tuna and caviar are just incredible and almost to die for!!! Definitely will be back very soon!!!

RoKa is always my favorite restaurants in London . It's my first time for lunch at Charlotte Street . I've been a few times to the lounge in the evening . Usually eating with a friend at Canary Wharf for lunch . I just like em' all , Mayfair as well ... The food is always amazing - the best lamb chops in the world ! I was disappointed in not having the black angus because it wasn't on the menu this time . The service was great in particular this time . I would definitely give RoKa a Michelin Star !!! ❤️

More chilled and with more light than the Canary Wharf and Aldwych Roka restaurants, delicious Japanese food across the board, be it sushi, sashimi or robata, with some fine twists, a must-go. Staff was super helpful and friendly so we had an excellent family dinner. Already been a few times and will definitely go again, though a bit pricey but absolutely worth it!

Everyone did his better to give us a nice experience.

The manager, Nathan, is really professional and friendly 💕 he really take care about us.

There was also another boy, portugause, really kind and healpfull.

The staff in the kitchen is great, it is really nice to see how concentrated and attentive to details they are!

The food is really testy, wonderful presentation and high quality.

Even thou I/we were quiet annoyed by an ignorant family with 2 annoying children that insisted on playing drums with sticks on water glass and had to ask for another table as management didn’t want to tell them to stop, then the quality of the food and the service besides the incident mentioned above was top class.

Ambiance was amazing. Service was superbe, really attentive and pace of service was perfect. Sitting at the bar allowed us to see the cooks, added to the amazing experience. And what can I say about the food.. it was heaven in the mouth. The black code brought tears of joy to my eyes. The scallops were cooked just right and very tasty. Would highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing food, and amazing service! Deborah was our server and gave us amazing recommendations of choices on the menu!!

Always very good and consistent food but service can take time so don't be in a rush. Take the time to enjoy it.



Personally I think the much feted black cod is over rated but the lamb cutlets are amazing. Sushi is always high quality and the kimchi is great.



Staff unfailingly polite. Cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic are delicious.



It's not cheap, it's not fast but it's really very lovely!

When we arrived, we had a sleeping child in a pushchair with us. I was shocked when the recptionist asked us to wake child and close push chair. Totally the worse possible suggestion to an Italian couple, who take their children everywhere with them and it's no problem.

The food was amazing, but I was sadly no freshly grated wasbi and the atmosphere isn't as special as Roka in Aldwich. I wouldn't go back to roka at charlotte street.
