We just love Roka and the team who run it. Last night we went to experience the new roof terrace. Food and service as always was wonderful and it was so nice to view Bagshot from above. The roof terrace cannot be reserved and seating is on an availability basis but if you’re lucky enough to get an outside table, weather permitting, it’s a lovely experience. Can’t wait for our next visit.

We have been a few times and it is one of our favourite restaurants. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend

I had the Roku Special which is chicken casserole with double cream and then topped with cheese.

Portion sizes are not scrimped either, I'd of loved to tried there desserts but I was stuffed

Organized a surprise birthday dinner for a friend and I messed them around with numbers etc and they were still so accommodating. Food was brilliant! Staff friendly fantastic service! Could not recommend more. And I was also given a bottle of wine to say thank you for organizing! Thanks for such an enjoyable night.

I visited the other night after hearing lots of good things about Roka. I was not disappointed! Everything about this restaurant was fabulous, food, service, menu and surroundings. The menu is extensive, the meze dishes were great for sharing and all the food we had was delicious. Can't wait to come back.

I really recommend the ROKA great food, hot mezzo a taste of everything with warm Turkish bread, I especially liked the calamari and halloumi. All main courses were very tasty 😋 the sharing platter is huge but you can take home what you don’t eat. We had cocktails too. The atmosphere is fantastic, everyone friendly and at the end of the evening there’s a small dance floor, sit downstairs if you can and book. Live singer too singing all the old rat pack songs and few others and we were singing along . Go and try it I hope we can go again soon

Had an amazing meal in this beautiful restaurant last night with 5 friends. Service was very good, manager was friendly & took the time to speak with us. I got a complimentary cocktail for my birthday. The cost was reasonable for the wine we consumed with our 3 course dinner, which was just exquisite! Will definitely be back, best local restaurant I've found. Thank you.

Had a great meal Saturday night. Great authentic Turkish cuisine with a great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. We left at just before 1130 and downstairs was heaving with dancing and drinking at the bar. We shall be back!��

Had a fab meal here - Really good food and super-friendly staff. Particularly liked the shareable mezze plates and the good selection of vegetarian choices.

Considering my Wife is Turkish, we frequently frequent Turkish restaurants! We visited on a Friday night. Walked in to a quaint well kept place where a singer was creating a brilliant atmosphere in the foreground while the guests were enjoying conversation in the background. I could not fault our experience. Brilliant food and great service. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Did not get a chance to take photos as we were too busy eating! Highly recommend.

Always amazing food and friendly service.

1st time at Roka having a farewell meal with our relative from Vancouver she loved it, food excellent staff very attentive would highly recommend it.

The restaurant has many positives. Very welcoming and pleasant staff, varied menu, delicious food.

Areas for improvement:

They could do with better staff coordination - for example, 6 different people attended our table during the evening over about 15 interactions. This included 3 different people coming to ask us within 3 mins or less of receiving the dessert menu what our order was. Yet at other times 4 staff were stood talking together 5 feet from our table not responding to 'excuse me' 'hello' and eventually we resorted to wild arm waving to attract their attention.

They also repeatedly dropped cutlery and plates when clearing tables in the downstairs area where we were seated.

The food was really, although the waiter could do with a. It more personality, we were put o. The spot when we went to pay our bill he said do you want to add a tip, this took us by surprise and put us on the spot very difficult to say no and to be honest the service wasn't that great

Really lovely restaurant and great food! We were really well looked after by the staff too which counts for a lot! Lots of laughter and a great evening. Particularly loved the baklava and the fab Turkish coffee �

This is the second time I’ve been to Roka, the first time we had an amazing evening. This time we booked a Saturday night for my birthday and wish we had gone elsewhere. The food was lovely as before but the service was appalling. We were seated and left to it, having to catch a waiters eye to order a drink, 45 min later and three requests to the serving staff and our drinks finally arrive. The couple seated next to us had the same experience, it was their first visit and they said they would be unlikely to return. Perhaps more staff are required on busy evenings?

I’m sorry Sue but just had a nice tasty lunch but EVERYTHING covered in SOOOOOOO much fat and oil that it has gone straight through me. I did mention this to the waiter and he apologised about three or four times but said thus was the way the chef does it. NO ONE needs that much oil/fat.
