Where could I start...my favourite Hotel EVER. All Rookery Hall Hotel staffs are so lovely. We had our lovely Wedding Service & Reception on Sunday 18th March 2018 at this venue. From Robbie the Banqueting Manager to the waitresses/waitress/ Receptionist staffs/bar staff /Housekeeper - the entire Hotel Staff team were fabulous and polite. A special thanks to Scott -Assistant Banqueting Manager you were fantastic... Whatever I've requested that day/evening you made it happen - stress free.. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Between you and your team you have made our Wedding dreams come true. The most important person to thank for is Claire Adamson - what a beautiful Wedding Event Coordinator you are.. All the months of planning with you were so enjoyable from the First meeting with you to the menu tasting and and finalised meetings with Claire were amazing.. You my dear are a gem. It's a credit to you how this magical journey started with you. Nik and I would like to thank you so much for everything. Lastly we'll like to comment about the food at Rockery Hall they were absolutely Top class- and with the lovely Teddy bear gift from the Rockery Hall hotel whilst the bridal preparation were taken place.. What a thoughtful beautiful surprised!!! Everything was just PERFECT...From the bottom of our hearts our friends and families and my Husband Nik..We would like to say a big thank you to you all. Well where do you start.... We had our wedding here on the 17.2.18 and from the moment we saw the venue booked it etc myself and my wife fell in love with the place.



Caroline sorted everything out for us in which she was brilliant and attentive. On the weekend we were there all the staff were amazing from the maids who cleaned the rooms, reception bar staff, chefs, kitchen staff, waiters. I would also like to make a special mention to Rob and Grant who guided us through the day. I can’t thanks these enough for what they did for us on the day along with everyone else.



Our guests were well impressed with all of the day and night and the quality that you provided.

This is an amazing place and will always have a special place in our hearts. We will be going back for overnighters and even a cheeky coffee etc every now and again.

We were celebrating a friends special birthday and we asked for a table outside for our afternoon tea. The staff accommodated us despite it being more work. We were looked after very well by all of the staff and as a result we had a brilliant time.

We have just had a wonderful overnight stay at Rookery Hall. We had a beautiful room in the main house (which was a lovely surprise), complimentary champagne and canapés when we arrived at the bar for our evening meal and an absolutely delicious 3 course meal. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble-it was a delight. I have to say breakfast was not up to the standard of our evening meal but there was a great choice and it was nice nevertheless. We like to treat ourselves from time to time - and it was a treat. Thank you for a lovely time.

We got married at Rookery on 11/11/17. We fell in love with the venue at our first wedding fayre, and even though we forced ourselves to go to other venues none lived up to Rookery. From the beginning of planning the wedding, Rookery (in particular Caroline Kelly) were so helpful and supportive. They led us through the process and made it easy to plan the wedding.



We had a number of last-minute changes to seating plans and guest lists but Rookery took these in their stride and were accommodating until the very end.



All of our guests have commented on the quality of the food at the wedding breakfast, even the fussiest members of both families. The creme brulee seemed to go down the best.



Our room (the January suite) on the night of the wedding was fantastic and we loved the added touch of the teddy bear on the pillow (which we have named Roger).



We loved it here, the room was amazing, the food was phenomenal and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We're hoping to return in a year for a few nights for our anniversary, and we can't wait to come back. Thank you so much for everything you did.

We attended the royal wedding street party yesterday the room was lovely and staff fantastic our 3 year old granddaughter loved it as did we only critasisum would b that the sound was not high enough to hear all around the room but still a lovely day was had by all and as this was our first visit to this hotel we will return

Visited for a spa day and it was lovely. Spa was clean and tidy, also had a full body massage which was amazing, the girls who did the treatments were great. Came away feeling relaxed and refreshed

Stayed at Rookery Hall Sunday the 20th of January 2018 for one night with my husband daughter An my mum which we were celebrating her 90th birthday 🎉 her helpful when booking us in asked did we need help with luggage to room than was taken to are 2 rooms one double An twin rooms were really big the double for myself An husband was lvly bathroom massive we had booked afternoon tea for 130 but as we're running abit late didn't have our sitting till about 23o which wasn't a problem the lvly lady on reception said she would let restaurant now we had arrived after noon tea was lvly the young girl who was seeing to us took a nice pic of us all 2 felt so relaxing booked evening meal for 830 that to was nice my husband An daughter went for breakfast said it was nice but thought it could have been nicer I carnt comment on that as never made breakfast only it is quite expensive staying here but for a treat An a special occasion who cares only live once so enjoy only little thing I will have a criticism about is that they could have been a little note or something to say happy 90th birthday to my mum as the hotel did no this as my husband had spoke to them on a few occasions on phone An also noted that to them by email little touches like this do mean a lot but never mind we had tea an coffee befor we left around 130 went to a reception really nice goodbye from staff An the lvly Man oppened doors for us as we left would go back again maybe have a spa treatment next time so thankyou Rookery Hall I will highly recommend you 👍

Spent my first evening at Rookery this Sunday evening with my partner and I already want to go back! The hotel staff go above and beyond! I called up Sunday morning as i was struggling to book a table for the evening....last minute as always. The lady got us booked straight in for 9 pm....i was a little disappointed however this actually worked in my favour. The lady asked the occasion and I'm going to assume she may have upgraded us. We arrived, went to our room and omg what an amazing room. The view was to die for! The bathroom was my favourite. The bath had a tv with surround sound in the bathroom! What more could a girl want?!?! I waited to dive in though as i was eager to get the pool and spa. We spent all afternoon relaxing in the steam room (which smelled delicious), sauna and hydro pool. I can't swim so avoided the actual pool. We then went back to the room where I finally got to try the bath with tv. You'll never ever have a bath the same at home ever again! Off we got ready for dinner. Well the meal....the bar staff made me porn Star martinis....yes the place caters to everyone! Not got that mature wine stage yet.....my heads quite thankful of this in the mornings as ive had wine once and it wasn't pretty! Onto the meal....well I never usually eat veg...well I certainly did that night! The food is to die for! The chefs certainly know what they're doing! I wanted to bring them home with me....along with the bathroom.....so yes the night was perfect! And to top it off the beds are just beyond comfy!!! It was so big too so i could star fish and not boot my partner in the back!

I cannot wait till my next stay! You've exceeded all my expectations! The staff who worked this weekend deserve the biggest thank you ever who went out of their way to ensure our stay was amazing, not caring they were working a bank holiday whilst we enjoyed it off! Some staff I saw late Sunday night and were there serving again Monday morning with a smile on their faces and no complains or grumbles! So thank you again!!!

Just took my 2 grand daughters for a treat stopped over night and had treatments next day absolutely brilliant staff out standing food heaven and spa treatments exceptional the whole place beautifully clean the only negative is we had to leave. Will certainly go again

I visited with my husband for Sunday Lunch on our wedding anniversary and enjoyed absolutely lovely food and a surprise complimentary glass of fizz each. We were greeted and served by Andrew who was very attentive and helpful, answered my questions on the cocktails and made it a great experience for us. I really love that you have ditched the plastic and the cocktail was served with a wooden stirrer and paper straw �

Beautiful setting and facilities too. We can't wait to visit again.

I treated my sister and I to a spa day this Sunday just gone. It was incredible. The food was out of this world and the treatments were amazing!! I’m on a crutch and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I would comment on for improvement was the showers. I didn’t feel as though I could have one there due to the floors being very slippery and no rail. But that was no dramas as I only lived 15 mins away so could shower at home. I would highly recommend the spa. Fantastic first experience- will absolutely be returning!

I treated my friend to afternoon tea on Tuesday and from being initially greeted in reception by a charming gentleman who escorted us through to the dining room where we were equally greeted by another lovely and welcoming lady who was just fabulous and was just a shame she must've finished her shift as didn't get to say goodbye. The afternoon tea was amazing and totally faultless so much so that I purchased a voucher for 2 for my parents for a birthday treat as so impressed. We definitely will be back so thank you so much for such a warm, personable welcome. Your team do you proud.

Amazing place! 2nd time we have chosen here for a spa break this time for my 50th birthday. The place is immaculate but more importantly ALL the staff go beyond the call of duty to make your stay a wonderful experience.

They all work hard for little or no recognition by residents I'm sure but they ALL enhanced our stay here as a really memorable one. I salute each and every single one of your team from management to the people on the ground floor who run things extremely smoothly day in day out. My spa day for my birthday with my daughter was lovely the staff were very friendly and my afternoon tea was very nice lots to eat and drink thankyou

An absolutely beautiful place where the staff could not do enough for us starting from checking in, the restaurant, the spa and checking out. The staff made us feel really welcome and went above and beyond.



The only things that let it down for me was it stated that the spa/pool area was open until 9pm, one of the staff said it was 9.30pm and when we got there at 8.30pm the doors were locked. The second thing that let it down was some aspects of the room the finish wasn’t great. We were in an executive double and the paint on the window sill had peeled off in quite a few places and the bottom of the bathroom door on the inside was very shabby with paint and bits of wood coming away. For the price of the room I thought that should have been better.



The added extras to the room were a nice touch with the complimentary truffles and free pillow spray.



We had a very enjoyable stay here and would recommend.

The hotel and spa remained lovely! It’s our seventh visit and stay, however, if things dont improve in the restaurant, it will be our last.

Poor food and poor service. Had to ask for cutlery and condiments, steak cooked wrong TWICE, salad was an opened bag of salad leaves without anything else. I won’t go on. It’s wasn't anywhere near as good as it used to be and no where near two Rosette quality.

Quite sad about it actually.

He then went and sniggered to the other immature staff so all night we were very uncomfortable!

Went for Sunday lunch. Cold, hard vegetables and the saltiest gravy I’ve ever tasted.

Charged £27 for two drinks we never had and when we questioned the bill he told us, “You probably would have paid more for what you had”

A pint of lager and a Gin and tonic? Seriously!

Then he screwed up our receipt and put it in his pocket!



We stayed overnight in a nice enough room but there was no air conditioning or even an opening window.

The shower was only a shower where it came out of the rose but then turned into a jet of low pressure water.



The only saving grace was the breakfast which was delicious.

However, we were told that there would be a delay on any hot food orders because of the amount of guests at the hotel.

I thought this was a strange thing to say as surely the hotel would know in advance how many guests would be staying and arrange sufficient staffing levels.



Very disappointing overall and clearly relying on its reputation from days gone by.

Some staff I saw late Sunday night and were there serving again Monday morning with a smile on their faces and no complains or grumbles! So thank you again!!!

Just took my 2 grand daughters for a treat stopped over night and had treatments next day absolutely brilliant staff out standing food heaven and spa treatments exceptional the whole place beautifully clean the only negative is we had to leave. Will certainly go again

I visited with my husband for Sunday Lunch on our wedding anniversary and enjoyed absolutely lovely food and a surprise complimentary glass of fizz each. We were greeted and served by Andrew who was very attentive and helpful, answered my questions on the cocktails and made it a great experience for us. I really love that you have ditched the plastic and the cocktail was served with a wooden stirrer and paper straw �

Beautiful setting and facilities too. We can't wait to visit again.

I treated my sister and I to a spa day this Sunday just gone. It was incredible. The food was out of this world and the treatments were amazing!! I’m on a crutch and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I would comment on for improvement was the showers. I didn’t feel as though I could have one there due to the floors being very slippery and no rail. But that was no dramas as I only lived 15 mins away so could shower at home. I would highly recommend the spa. Fantastic first experience- will absolutely be returning!

I treated my friend to afternoon tea on Tuesday and from being initially greeted in reception by a charming gentleman who escorted us through to the dining room where we were equally greeted by another lovely and welcoming lady who was just fabulous and was just a shame she must've finished her shift as didn't get to say goodbye. The afternoon tea was amazing and totally faultless so much so that I purchased a voucher for 2 for my parents for a birthday treat as so impressed. We definitely will be back so thank you so much for such a warm, personable welcome. Your team do you proud.

Amazing place! 2nd time we have chosen here for a spa break this time for my 50th birthday. The place is immaculate but more importantly ALL the staff go beyond the call of duty to make your stay a wonderful experience.

They all work hard for little or no recognition by residents I'm sure but they ALL enhanced our stay here as a really memorable one. I salute each and every single one of your team from management to the people on the ground floor who run things extremely smoothly day in day out. We will be back here again soon � keep up the very good work everyone! xxx

My spa day for my birthday with my daughter was lovely the staff were very friendly and my afternoon tea was very nice lots to eat and drink thankyou

An absolutely beautiful place where the staff could not do enough for us starting from checking in, the restaurant, the spa and checking out. The staff made us feel really welcome and went above and beyond.



The only things that let it down for me was it stated that the spa/pool area was open until 9pm, one of the staff said it was 9.30pm and when we got there at 8.30pm the doors were locked. The second thing that let it down was some aspects of the room the finish wasn’t great. We were in an executive double and the paint on the window sill had peeled off in quite a few places and the bottom of the bathroom door on the inside was very shabby with paint and bits of wood coming away. For the price of the room I thought that should have been better.



The added extras to the room were a nice touch with the complimentary truffles and free pillow spray.



We had a very enjoyable stay here and would recommend.

The hotel and spa remained lovely! It’s our seventh visit and stay, however, if things dont improve in the restaurant, it will be our last.

Poor food and poor service. Had to ask for cutlery and condiments, steak cooked wrong TWICE, salad was an opened bag of salad leaves without anything else. I won’t go on. It’s wasn't anywhere near as good as it used to be and no where near two Rosette quality.

Quite sad about it actually.

Waited nearly 15 mins for a glass of wine, when reminding a member of staff of the wine he shouted’ its coming’ stropped his arm and waddled off. Diva bitch Nathan.

Sulked all nite . Should of been tucked up in bed by his mummy!obv to late for him 7pm!!

He then went and sniggered to the other immature staff so all night we were very uncomfortable!

While being rushed to our seats, we were asked before we had even sat down do u want coffee,tea, or orange!

I had orange ! It was warm (in weather like this)warm.

Then cereal ,milk was warm to! Yuk..

Don’t bother with breakfast it’s boring and flat.they brought a dinner spoon to place a spoonful of brown sauce on my plate!!!

Went for Sunday lunch. Cold, hard vegetables and the saltiest gravy I’ve ever tasted.

Charged £27 for two drinks we never had and when we questioned the bill he told us, “You probably would have paid more for what you had”

A pint of lager and a Gin and tonic? Seriously!

Then he screwed up our receipt and put it in his pocket!



We stayed overnight in a nice enough room but there was no air conditioning or even an opening window.

The shower was only a shower where it came out of the rose but then turned into a jet of low pressure water.



The only saving grace was the breakfast which was delicious.

However, we were told that there would be a delay on any hot food orders because of the amount of guests at the hotel.

I thought this was a strange thing to say as surely the hotel would know in advance how many guests would be staying and arrange sufficient staffing levels.



Very disappointing overall and clearly relying on its reputation from days gone by.
