Rory Bratt'S Personal Training Description
Since a young age I have had a passion for fitness which started when I was at school rowing. Rowing has been a vital part of my development towards progressing with my career, this is how it all started. When I was 13 years of age I wasn't in the best shape, weighing around 105kg (around 16. 5stone). It started to get me down mentally and physically I felt that I didn't fit in with the sports that i was participating in. The first 2 years i wasn't in the best crew, competing in the lower end of the squad, not enjoying the training, losing the passion and the reason i loved the sport. This is where the determination kicked in and i knew it wasn't going to be easy but i was up for the challenge. I focused more on my training and adjusted my diet. Week by week slowly the weight started to drop and my performance levels started to rise. There were days that i struggled more than others but as i started to reach the weekly goals i had set myself my confidence started to grow. This reflected on my performance results which resulted in competing at The Royal Henley Regatta and also taking part at the Junior Great Britain rowing trials. Starting from 105kg I dropped to 88kg (13. 8 stone) with a total loss of 17kg (just over 2. 5 stone) From there I went on to participate in multiple events including cycling events, triathlons and half marathons with the latest one being The Great North Run 2016. Following this confidence boost i wanted to share my knowledge with others, to help them achieve their own goals. I'm here to motivate and guide yourself toward your personal goals, whether it be for that perfect wedding day, that local Park Run or like me general health and fitness. - First Swap Blueberry Muffin for a whole gain English muffin... not all muffins are created equal. An English muffin has half the calories and the whole grain provides healthy dietary fibre. Blueberry Muffin calorie is 444 vs English Muffin is 132 - β
Second swap...Smoothies.. stick to whole fruits. Smoothies are so much heathy.. when in fact smoothies can be loaded with both sugar and calories.. -... β

Training with Rory for a while now and he has definitely helped motivate me in going to the gym. I feel more confident in working out and understand what exercises target what muscle groups! Definitely helped me improve my fitness and he always fits my sessions around what I want to do! Would definitely recommend.
Trained with this lad for a while but taking a break because of a injury. He really pushes you to hit those goals and targets. Good at making sure your still motivated and giving you that pick up if needed. If your looking to get fitter, lose weight or just step yourself up to that next level he's the geezer

I have regular plans to follow so I keep Proactive,having Parkinson's disease is a challenge as every day is a different day .
Rory really does listen and care.
I would highly recommend him to help you stay fit and encourage you to watch your diet and prepare gym circuits to help with my coordination
Rory is an incredible trainer. In 6 months Iβve gone from struggling 5 mins on a bike/treadmill to over 30 mins improving every week. He encourages and motivates and you see results.. he has helped me on my journey to coming leaner and fitter...thank you Rory
Rory is an excellent personal trainer. I did a few sessions with him in September and October 2016 and he really motivated me, encouraged me not to give up and pushed me to achieve more every week.
He also helped me with my eating habits by giving me tips.
Thanks to a healthy diet, a weekly exercise plan and lot of motivation, I actually lost 7kg in less than 2 month. Feel a lot happier with myself, and more confident in the gym.
I highly recommend him as a PT and will definitely book in more sessions with him.

I had several sessions with him in order to train for Tough Mudder and, having done it himself, he knew exactly what he was talking about and gave me a program of exercises to guide me as well in my own time. He's very encouraging and really pushes you - I wouldn't have made half as much progress without him! Definitely give Rory a call :)
