It was lovely we book the table for 10 been waiting for 1 hour that’s not fair when you book in advance and again u have to wait for so long food was okay all I like pakore and fish lamb krahi but quality hmmmm wasn’t too impressive nan was cold no chapati who will eat paratha night time instead of paratha should be a romali roti

User

I like the food but time limitation is not good you can’t rush when you eating. They can improve the quality of food

User

The food was yummilicious...very fresh and tasty....But the environment was WORST!!!My God!! No words to explain that loud sound of cheap punjabi songs....The waiters were in such a hurry that they were running, not walking....There must be a system of pre reservations, instead of waiting in a long queue.

User

Firstly can I say I attended on the evening of Eid day so I was expecting it to be busy.

Getting there - if you're driving it's straight forward. Leave your car parked in the Tesco car park, it's bigger and more space but more importantly it's FREE for the first 3 hours. And walking from Tesco car park to Nawabs is about 30 seconds.

Venue - very big.

Organisation - on busy nights it's like a zoo. A mixture of Asian people not understanding instructions and what an orderly queue is to security staff miscommunicating instructions to customers. At certain areas in the reception people were squashing one another.

Accessibility - families with buggies need to leave these at home or in the boot of your car because on busy days it's a struggle. And for wheelchair users I didn't see any ramps. I'm assuming wheelchair users have different access areas, you will need to double check.

Toilets - I never needed to go so I'm unable to comment on cleanliness.

Service - it was ok. You can accept on manic nights you won't get attentive service.

Quality of food - my family enjoyed it. But I've never been a fan of Pakistani Punjabi style cooking. The kebabs were very very spicy. You had a few children friendly dishes. Deserts are ok. Price is £20 per adult £10 per child buffet which could be lower but for Eid no one will grumble.

Overall we had an ok time, the main point is family being together sharing a meal. I might go back there on a less busy night.

User

As long as you know what to choose as there is plenty of variety. So if you fill up your tummy with starters then you won't enjoy the main dishes. My fav is puri and namkeen ghost but this time i didn't find namkeen ghost so was a bit disappointed. Nice atmosphere though and quite reasonable price specially for a family with kids. But hate the fact that there always wait before you get in.

User

Was expecting a Manchester Nawaab like experience but it is not at all - the food is not as nice - was average at best and not very fresh - it is expensive too- the jugs of drinks are flat - when i mentioned this was told to buy bottles instead for £2.50 each - the wait times are 1.5 hours!! The prayer room (glad they have one) but it is really small for such a big venue - there is plenty of parking though and staff are friendly.

User

Visited this place first time in London. Although, there was a lot of variety of food but the standard and quality was not great. Most of the starters were good but main courses were average.

I got some Lamb Paye and while I was having them, I found bunch of hairs with the bones. When I asked about this from a staff member, he said they can't do anything with this and they put a note to warn the customers. I went to see where the note was, and I found a small print note along-with the label of this dish. I wasn't expecting this from such a famous and popular place :(

User

There is too much hype about this restaurant. Yes, there's a lot of different dishes, and there's someone going around checking the temperature. Unfortunately, the authentic taste of most of the variety of curry dishes are simply not there. Lamb chops was very disappointing. I couldn't taste the paneer rather only the sauce. The spread of fried and roasted chicken was good. Disappointed with the range of desserts. Kheer was ok, but the gajar was too sweet. They don't serve you tap water at the table, you have to get up go to the bar and get a glass of tap water.

User

I found it well below the expectation considering the publicity.

1= Food. Quantity & variety plenty with average quality and below average presentation.

2= Seatining very congested and awful. This make it worse when one has to maouver between tables with plate full food.

3=being sufferer of knee pains, found out it painful to go downstairs for food. Why couldn't they set up buffet table on seating level? Probably to make more money with extra seats.

4=Staff attitude needs to be improved. As per website info, they had disable parking spaces but I was refused entry and directed to Tesco carpark. There the attended told me there is no disable space left and directed me back to main area. I was made to wait 5 minutes before someone came out and asked me to park next to refuse bin. I could see at least 5 disable space near the gate blocked with barriers.

5=Only one standard size (4 ft) main door for in / out. Chaos every where and staff didn't care.

6=Place is not family / disable friendly as people with buggy and wheelchair were struggling. People kept getting hot by buggies.

7= Only one lift serving the whole building and no lift access to food area.

Conclusion: Avoid by all means as it is NOT worth £20 per head. You can find lot better placed cheaper than £20.

User

over crowded. food looks good but dont ever try. i tried chicken wing and found a human hair in it when called the staff and showed them he took my plate and never came back so we didn't ate and left that place. we drove 90 min to get there and eat burger king on my way home. waste of money time and health dont know how they cook the food comdition of the kitchen is it hygenic or not. i wont recommend to go there. thanks

User

Worst place to

Go for iftar, they hve no organisation skills how to seat people. No dates provided for iftar as they ran out. Not prepared for the amount of people they cater for. Then wait a hour to get the food as they seat you upstairs and mke u go down to get the food when there are 300 people already waiting for their food. Emailed a complaint but no reply to that too!!!! All about money for the manager of Nawaab.

User

Worst experience ever.

We had to wait 1.5 hrs for a table. I had my toddler with me & I requested access to food for baby only. I was granted access but after ten minutes, one of the staff came and told me to vacate the table as he had to seat two people on that table which was near drinks bar where i sat. I had to leave feeding baby half way and go to waiting area to come back after 45 minutes to eat. Even a dumb person could have arranged a baby seat and given me ten more minutes to feed baby. YOU lost my custom today. Never coming back!

User

What an awful place to eat! Went there yesterday for iftar with family and had the most disgusting experience. Terrible staff with a very backward asian mentality who know nothing about customer service and had no idea of how to control the overcrowded venue. People were stuffed into both floors like sardine. We got seating on the 1st floor and had to go downstairs to get our mains and desserts. Starters were provided upstair which were cold and dry and different to the wide variety hot ones downstairs- all in all really not great! It's definitely all about the money and not about the customer or the Food! Unpleasant place to eat and would not recommend it to anyone!

User

That's absolutely offul ..we went yesterday there for staff party ..i got food poison ..i was been struggling all evning and all night after food what i had there .. And i was no the only one who was feel bad after had dinner there.. definitely I will inform food and safe people ..i feel sick till now ... horrible place !!!!!

User

Tasteless food. Rubbish service and too much disgusting thing they do. If you need lamb chops or other thing they keep them behind and without any name mentioning and if you ask give you only 2 pieces or 1 piece of fish. Make you feel bad. Not even a single thigh has taste. Worst experience ever.

User

Sorry to say the food is too oily and made me sick when I got home

I think you should put less oil in the food it’s looks like you have free oil which you put in the food too much which can make someone sick at end of eating the food

I will not recommend anyone to come over but it’s up to if anyone wants to be sick

User

Serving staff is under trained. They need to get trained how to behave to families because we go there,we pay them for food and for service. So we deserve to be treated as guests. Unfortunately they lack providing good service. They need to show respect to families.

User

Poor management and no parking for suppliers, one of the owner actually kicked our light and was rude enough to walk away without any explanation. We as professionals couldn't say anything because we were client but with this type of attitude we don't see this place running for long!

Not recommended at all!

User

Its like its the last meal on Earth! People are tripping over each other to eat the sub standard food! I suggest dont follow the hype got to a proper restaurant, yes you will pay a few extra quid but it will be worth it. This place is like a fish an Asian Fish market!
