PLEASE NOTE - the cafe will only be open for drinks and snacks today, no cooking. Please bring plenty of water and sandwiches with you, it's going to be warm! The red Lion pub next door, do take away food all day 😃

THIS SUNDAY 30th June - Unaffilliated showjumping in the new outdoor arena. Two surfaced warm ups arenas including the indoor which will provide shaded warm up if very hot, qualifiers with luxury rosettes and sashes. Estimated times have been emailed to advance entries. If you are entering on the day class estimates are as follows - 8:30am - Clear Round 9am - Bottom hole x poles 9:45am - 30/40cm 10:30am - 50cm... 11:30am - 60cm 1pm - 70cm 2:30pm - 80cm 3:30pm - 90cm 4:30pm - 1m Hope to see you there.

This is never nice to see. As a Charles Owen stockist this shows how important it is to have a helmet up to the safety standards and correctly fitted. Due to Charles Owens high safety standards it has fulfilled its purpose. For any help and advice on hat standards please ask I store. We wish Grace a speedy recovery.

Is it time for a new riding hat?? Riding hats should always be replaced if they have suffered any sort of impact. Although they might appear fine on the outside, the inside could tell quite a different story. For this reason riders are encouraged to invest in a new riding hat, rather than buying a second-hand one,... where the history is unknown. It’s also time to say goodbye to your hat if it’s more than a few years old because the protective liner and inner padding will have started to deteriorate and the safety standards might be out of date. Saddlesdane trained staff are available to help you find your perfect riding hat.

Saturday 15th June we have a BS seniors scheduled at Saddlesdane but we need support from the Kent Bs riders to continue to host them! We would love to continue to host BS but due to poor support last month and the cost of hosting Bs dates plus turning away unaffiliated dates and externals to fit them in we need to know they are viable. We have made the decision for the 15th June entries to go through www.horsemonkey.com and if there is not sufficient advance entries to run by the Thursday before we will cancel the event. Please support your Kent venues as we are not alone in this situation.
