Preventing violent conflict. Building safer lives.

We are a not-for-profit organisation with programmes in over 20 countries and territories across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. We receive funding from a range of donors including governments, the European Commission, trusts and individuals.

Saferworld works in a number of regions affected by violent conflict and the proliferation of small arms and light weapons. We work with our partners in these countries to tackle armed violence and create safer communities.

We also work internationally to ensure that the policies of the international community reduce rather than create conflict.
