SaharaGrill at Leyton is fantastic, all the staff are friendly. Munabhai in particular, always Ma-sha-Allah smilling and happy to to take care and serve you sincerely.
Me and my family went for my daughters part 2 birthday celebrations. My parents hardly ever go out for dinner with us and they throughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere and my mum is still raving about the mango frappes highly recommend. The restaurant is very clean and the service was excellent. Could not fault it. Early Evening time we went and it was quite.
Great food as always and great service. Can’t ask for more that that.
My steak was nice however their portions are pretty small for the price and the xxl burger is a standard burger, fancy labeled dishes with big prices... I did feel they were overpriced. Originally from up north where i find the food is amazing, traveled from Reading a friend recommended the restaurant. I wouldn't be travelling from such a distance next time, not worth going out of your way to eat there in my opinion. Probably ok for the locals there or if you are shopping nearby
Staff and service was fine, atmosphere lovely. Food is a massive let down. It used to be great, now you get a very small steak slice, a tomato is now the replacement salad and they clearly do not marinade the meat long enough because it lacked flavour! The gravy made up for it. And as for caramelised onions.. Well that was a joke. For what you pay, it really isn't worth it.
We went today with our friends first time , the customer service was very bad.. no explanation at all what that food is and for how many people. We pain £40 (for 4people) and we all were still hungry :/ sooo shame.. not recommend at all!
We booked In advance, was given some over crowded table in between 2 families with screaming kids. Lamb chops were really hot and not very appetising. Ordered a ribeye steak medium rare which came back in blood and was not appetising either. Sent it back to be cooked more they sent a more cooked of the exact same steak which I just ate from with some greasy chips which covered the plate and some not even cooked onions on top. And the sauce was watery. Service was absolutely atrocious. When I asked to speak to the manager I had to wait around whilst he was having a convo on the phone. When I told him the issues he wasn't even interested and didn give a solution either still charged me the same amount. I would NEVER VISIT again or recommend this Leyton branch to anybody!
Really disappointed in my lamb fillet steak meal. Came with chips as requested but salad consisted of just two cherry tomatoes! Really depressing looking!
It’s the a big hype about going to the Sahara Grill. Customer service is ok not brilliant, the atmosphere is not nice at all people and kids shouting screaming, we came out with a headache. The food well I wouldn’t think of coming here again. Plain boiled rice with grilled chicken that is way too spicy. You can’t choose if you want mild. Spent almost £80 for 4 of us and came out still hungry as we hardly ate the spicy grilled chicken. So I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
