Very kind staff who allowed me to take two trollies of free pumpkins for my nursery children to play with.

The clothes were much nicer than in my local Saintsbury's in Kent. I often shop in Hempstead Valley Sainsbury's and the clothes aren't the same at all.

Sainsbury's at the Weir is a great store. Staff are always nice. Love Sainsbury's.

My husband collects our shopping on his way home from work each week.

He says the drivers are always friendly polite and helpful.

I have always had good service.My only complaint and have said it many many many times is that the chickens on the hot counter are too small and too expensive don't buy them anymore �

I have shopped at the Stadium Way store for years, but haven't done so for about a month now. Nothing to do with the store, just the road A129 (Rayleigh Road) from Woodmans Arms to Stadium Way is in an appalling condition, pot holes every where. Sorry

Don’t shop there that often, just for odds and ends really. However each visit has seen me get something decent from the clothing range. Will look there more often or clothing. Good wine and grocery section as well. Need more staff for the tills though. Had just 1 item yesterday but even self service tills had long queues.

One star is too generous! My delivery didn't arrive. I saw a delivery van outside my neighbour's house in my time slot but assumed she was having a delivery and I was next. Any way he drove off and I phoned customer service. I was advised that he knocked at my address but as there were only children at home they couldn't deliver. I explained that I don't have young children and that they must of tried to deliver next door. I explained I saw the van. This was at 10.40am, I was told that I would receive a call from the store to sort it out. 2 hours later after phoning customer service again ( because I can't get through to the store direct!) I get a call. I'm offered a slot between 2-4 but as my shopping should have arrived between 9.30-10.30 I'm not impressed. I try to get an earlier slot and am then told that the driver insists he knocked at my house. This is the bit that makes me angry the most. They believe the driver and are more or less suggesting saying I should be grateful for the slot. I insist on speaking to someone else and end up speaking to the store manager. He still talks about the driver 'potentially' going to the wrong address as he hadn't spoken to the driver yet. Very bad service. I don't bloody have young kids and saw the driver outside next door. I knocked at my neighbour this afternoon and they told me that he knocked at theirs. I will take my £700 a month at least elsewhere

One of my pet hates is human hair in my food, and for the second time I've found it in Sainsbury's Vegetable Biryani. One was black and course and the other was grey and fine...both long. It's going back to Sainsbury's tomorrow for investigation and I'll wait to hear from their headoffice.

I bought a bag of sugar snap peas and there was a dead caterpillar in there, needless to say I threw the whole bag away in disgust!!
