User

Wonderful restaurant: delicious food, good service, and fitting music/atmosphere.

User

Went to Sakagura for the fist time for Saturday lunch. I was immediately impressed by the authentic Japanese decor. The welcome was warm and so polite. You felt as if you had stepped through the Looking Glass into Japan!!

The menu was extensive with excellent dishes available. We decided to order Bento Boxes to get a wide choice of dishes; Sushimi, Miso, Tempura, Sushi & Salads.

The food was delicious and a generous portion.

To accompany the meal we ordered Green Tea, which was replenished at no extra charge.

Our group will be returning soon.

User

Went for supper here last night. Food was excellent, clean, fresh and perfectly presented. We were a large group and the only downside was the length of time it took to take the order was too long. One of the party had to leave before her food arrived!! Would definately return though maybe with a smaller group.

User

We Went there yesterday for dinner and loved it! Place looks amazing, staff is friendly and professional and food is fantastic. Perfect couldn't fault anything! Thank you and we defiantly will be coming back

User

This restaurant is simply sublime; the quality of the food is only surpassed by the excellent service from the friendly, mainly Japanese staff who make you feel like you're actually in Japan. This is a fine-dining experience at its best; the food is worth traveling for. Check this place out.

User

At long last I created myself an opportunity today to sample this all-singing-all-dancing Japanese Wagyu beef meal. As it says on the tin, it's tender, tasty and most importantly healthy. Service here is impeccable too.

Lovely food and

Great service 👍🏼

User

Extremely good and attentive service, decor and ambience was great. I had one of the privacy booths champagne brunch, the food was great too.

User

Amazing food, beautiful place, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I wanted to give 5 stars. Not giving it because we had to eat at the bar.

It wasn't a problem to have had eaten at the bar. The problem was that we saw few tables reserved when we arrived and the same tables were empty from the time we left. We did spent almost 3 hours there and we spent a good money too.

That's it. If they could managed that better. I would recommend that place for sure.

User

Amazing cocktails, even the one recommend by the barman, red lantern mmm. Food was lovely, I tried things I normally wouldn't. But the service and presentation is what made it special. Definitely somewhere to go at least once in your life

We came here on Saturday for lunch. The food was great however the service was a let down. We had the poke bowl, dragon roll and salad. All were delicious! The waiter cleared our plates away even though we were still waiting for two more dishes to come. We told the waiter about this and assumed he’ll bring new plates to us. There must have been a language barrier as he came back with our bill (which we didn’t even ask!) We told the waiter again that we are still waiting for the rest of our order. He apologised and brought new plates over. Finally, our skewers arrived but we were still waiting on our assorted tempura dish. No explanation why the tempura took so long! Overall, I’m very disappointed with the service.

User

I went to see Aladdin and since I had a craving for ramen I opened Google maps to find the closest places with better reviews.

I got there and was immediately seated by the window.

The ramen came 7 minutes after I ordered it and it was great, a big bowl of succulent ramen.

I only have 3 notes:

- The lounge music to me felt disjointed from the ambience which is pretty nice

- The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, not that it was a mess but really focus on minor details

- In Argentina we don't really have Japanese cuisine other than sushi so a advise on an entry and desert would have been greatly appreciated.

I would totally go back and I recommend it but I unfortunately I cannot give you a higher rating. Keep up the good work and thank you for that tasty ramen!

User

First of all, congrats on opening and cheers to all the staffs and efforts to open this place.

Starting with good things. Vastly huge Sake selections. Great hot Sake.Miso-seasoned Cod and Agedashi Dofu were great and very authentic. Yakitori, japanese pickles, Tempura, and some other plates are OK. Services are good in that people are very nice and I like the idea of "Sake Sommelier", despite a bit slow services.

However, "Soba"(Japanese Buckwheat Noodle) was bad. How bad? You might find it at WASABI or Wagamama. Noodle doesn't smell and taste like Soba, being overboiled. Soup was watery. It tasted like a random cheap Soba franchise in Shibuya, which costs JPY500(GBP4 @ exchange rate yesterday), and yet it was priced GBP14. The Upper Bound of overpricing japanese food overseas is 200% even at high-end sushi bar. Your soba was priced at 300%+ and it's not high-end restaurant. Maybe my expectation was too high, because it's owned by Mr. Araki, a chef of 2 Michelin starred "Araki". Let him eat that Soba. I bet he will turnover that Soba bowl. I recommend you to use Soba noodle with a higher percentage of Buckwheats (I guess you were using <10%) and make a better broth. Also, Deliveries of Appetizers and Main dishes should be spaced out.

Overall, it's good atmosphere, very nice people, good japanese plates, great sake selections, but you need to revamp Noodle(esp. Soba) department. Good luck.

User

Went on the 25/10 for my daughters 21st food and staff excellent.will definitely visit again

User

We were there on 11th June, ordered the set meal, 300g Wagyu beef, we were not asked how we wanted our beef, mine was too well done. Was more like a sirloin, so was disappointed. The dragon roll was very good, the courgette was so over priced, £7 for a few thin slices.

User
